Amazing ground floor two bedroom apartment, with en-suite bathroom and one shower room/cloakroom. Spacious bright open-plan living area, with all the machines. The location of this property makes the apartment quite unique- you are literally moments from the tube station and some of the best shops and yet the apartment is peaceful and quiet. In a very upmarket area of London, with numerous cafes, bars and pubs just around the corner - it is a 5 minute walk to Portobello Road and Notting Hill Gate. This apartment has just been completely redesigned and decorated, with quality appliances and furniture and fittings, nothing but the best. Clean and fresh decor, light wooden flooring, carpeted master bedroom, top quality bedlinen. Looking out to some of the most expensive real estate in London, and greenery. You will be utterly amazed at how close you are to everything LONDON has to offer. Wireless Internet included. Paradise! Without the palm trees!

A little gem

We stayed in this property in January 2018. The inside of the 2 bedroom flat has been totally renovated in a beautiful white tone, which is very calming after a day of sightseeing. The beds are simply one of the most comfortable we have slept in for a VRBO. Furthermore, the Manager takes incredible pride in getting her sheets professionally laundered, so sleep feels like a total hotel experience of the 5 star hotel standard. The sofa and chairs are incredibly comfortable and are very 'homey' and cosy. The kitchen has everything you need and we cooked for 3 of our nights, including a chicken roast. However, what takes this property to the next level is the location. It is literally a one minute walk to Holland Park tube and serviced by any number of London buses. There are an amazing array of very good/high quality pubs to the left or right of the property; and the area is well serviced by an array of supermarkets, boutique delis, butcher, boulangerie, wine store, etc. The area has a village atmosphere and if this is an immersion experience you are after, then this property is for you. Just a 7 minute walk to Nottinghill Gate, you are further spoilt by more shops, cinema and don't forget Ladbroke Grove smorgasboard of restaurants or Nottinghill Market.

Of course, if you do your research, you will find the external building is a retro, tired, and dated building. This is because it is a 1950's house that was built to provide residential accommodation for Metropolitan police officers. Don't let the external features of this building override your decision to stay here. It is a marvelous flat that is very contemporary and clean, with every modern comfort at your finger tips. Eat in or eat out; the choice is yours and better still, you will be with locals and away from tourists. You really can't ask for more than that. And, if you want to get your hair done, Josh Woods Colour, is opposite your backdoor entrance from the Mews side. Josh Woods Colour has just won the award for best hair colour in the UK for 2017 and has clients like Elle Macpherson and Kylie Minogue. They even offer manicure and pedicures. This is your home away from home! I will be back!

The flat is 1 minute from the Holland Park tube station, but surprisingly, there is no noise or crowd impact on flat. Flat is comfortable with all the necessary sundries like soap, shampoo, laundry detergent supplied. Bedding clean and comfortable. Yvonne, the manager, was very friendly and informative, and very kindly met us Sunday morning to accomodate an early check in. Wonderful find and great base of operations for exploring the fantastic city of London!

Location, Location, Location!!!

My daughters and I enjoyed our stay in your lovely apartment. The furnishings were beautiful and we loved having a washer and dryer. I must say the beds were a little hard for us but were not so uncomfortable that we could not get our rest. The bedding was first class. The best feature of this apartment was the location. A quick 2 minute walk for the tube. We were there during the "beast from the east" storm and it was great being so close to the tube. The apartment was warm and cozy. We would not hesitate to recommend to our friends and family. Thank you so much!

4 of us stayed in this charmingly decorated flat with all conveniences as described in the vrbo write up. Yvonne was there to greet me and show what was needed to know. The flat is just around the corner from the tube. Lots of cafes and a grocery shop nearby. A short walk from Portobello Rd. The beds were very comfortable, the bathrooms chic, the flat spotlessly clean, and it was quiet. I can't say enough good things. Will definitely recommend and would return here for sure. Virginia

We felt very much at home from the moment we entered the lovely apartment and we enjoyed every minute of our stay The apartment has everything you need for a perfect holiday in London. Washer, dryer, dishwasher, coffee mashine!

The apartment is just around Holland Park Station in a quiet road and there are shops for all you needs. Do not miss breakfast at Paul´s Bakery! We went several times and loved it!

Holland Park with a restaruant and cafe, it also has a popular Adventure Playground for children, Barnes Wetland Centre for birdwatching and nature walk, Legoland at Windsor, Cycling around the City on a 'Boris bike', Golf at Chiswick, Ice skating in Queensway, Rollerblading in Kensington Gdns/Hyde Park. Horse Riding in 'Rotten Row' Hyde Park from stables in Bayswater, Tennis in all the London Parks, The British Library at Euston, All the London Museums and tourist attractions.. wonderful cafe scene and numerous pubs, good restaraunts - all within walking distance, also Portobello Rd. market at Notting Hill Gate. The 'Oxford Tube', a frequent coach service which runs all day and night - the coach stop is just around the corner, takes you to the university city of Oxford for £20 return.

Payment is only accepted in the quoted currency. A 25% deposit payable on booking. Remainder of rental fee payable 6 weeks before rental period starts or by negotiation. The price quoted is for a maximum of 4 persons, a fifth person would incur a charge of £10 per night. The price is inclusive of everything. Bookings less than 5 nights incur a cleaning laundry fee of £20 per night.

  • 100% refund if cancelled at least 60 days before arrival date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
