Relaxing Weekend Getaway

  • 5 of 5

Had a good time here. Cabin was clean and conveniently located close to town. Our dog loved running in the big yard, and the whole family enjoyed the national park across the street. Would stay again.

Lovely cabin and fantastic location for nature hikes with your dogs

  • 5 of 5

First of all, I must say Lisa was so easy to work with. She responded promptly with answers to my questions. The cabin was comfortable, cool, clean and convenient to trails and restaurants. We even had pizza delivered! The fencing is safe and secure even for little dogs and the yard is large and shady. There were lots of towels, blankets and pillows. Covers for the furniture are provided if you bring pets but we brought our own extra sheets and blankets to cover the furniture. The water pressure in the bathroom shower was AMAZING! We are looking forward to staying again in the fall!

Family had a great time!

  • 4 of 5

Overall our experience was great. We had a lot of fun on our vacation. We especially loved the large fenced yard. We were able to back our flat bed trailers with UTV's right in the yard and lock them up. Kitchen was nice and stocked with everything we needed. This cabin definitely had that old rustic feel with the great outdoor decor. The main bathroom could use some updating but worked fine for us. The half bath upstairs is teeny tiny. I could sit on the toilet and wash my hands at the same time, just to give you an idea of the size. I'm shorter so it wasn't a huge deal for me but could see someone that is taller having some issues. Beds were kinda hard but I am used to a soft mattress back at home. My biggest complaint was the couches were covered in hair making it a little itchy and uncomfortable. We covered them with sheets during our stay. The chairs on the patio are a little sketchy. Could use a good tightening. We were a lil scared to sit on them. Also the blinds covering the front windows could use a good wipe down. Other then those few minor complaints we had a great stay and the home owner was very sweet and quick to respond.

  • 1 of 5

Very dirty inside. Needs a good cleaning. Broken window in kitchen. Decks need to be redone. Backyard has trash all over, broken up snow sleds, dog poop, etc. Blinds dirty and don't work. Still had xmas lites all over. Very limited paper towel and toilet paper. Basically looks like cabin has been ignored. Would not recommend

Owner's Response: Ok this renter is wrong and she left the cabin a mess. The cabin is beyond clean as we just did the spring clean. There is one pane of a 2 pain window that is broke on a very small window in the dining area. One blind in twin bedroom is missing the thing that changes the angle of blind?? Deck is fine but is being re stained this month. No trash in yard other than ONE sled....not sure how that affects her vacation. Xmas lights up on deck...renters love it....as it is dark out there at night on a dead end street and renters love the ambiance...not this one?? We supply starter toilet paper, paper towel, garbage bags, tin foil, baggies, dish soap, bath soap, laundry soap. She was there 7 days and guess expected 6 rolls of paper towel. PLEASE READ THE OTHER REVIEWS AS THIS IS JUST ONE RENTER THAT HAS HER OWN EXPECTATIONS FOR TAJ MAJAL FOR 125/NT AND THE CABIN IS BEYOND CLEAN AND IN GREAT SHAPE.
