Superb Home -
Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home in the Truman Annex. My husband & I were celebrating our 20th anniversary. We honeymooned in Key West & always said, “if we ever go back, we’re staying in the Truman Annex.” We brought my Mother-in-law, Sister-in-Law & her husband. There was plenty of room for all of us. The Murphy bed on the main floor was great for mom. We slept in the King en-suite & housekeeping converted the 2nd bedroom to a King for my Sister-in-law. She basically took over the whole front of the house on the second floor creating her own en-suite with a King bed, full bath (2 steps from the bedroom) & used the 3rd bedroom as a dressing room. LOL
The living room & breakfast room area has updated furniture that is not shown in the photos on VRBO. A very large sectional sofa, breakfast table & bar stools at the kitchen bar. 3 coffee makers(Keurig & 2 regular automatic drip), a large 4 slice toaster, blender, loads of cabinets & dishes, pots, pans, cooking utensils & silverware. French door refrigerator with 2 freezers is huge & has ample space for food & a case or two of water. Hair dryers were in the bathrooms. Washer/Dryer on the 2nd floor with plenty of bath towels, wash cloths, hand towels, bath rugs & pool towels.
Do yourself a favor & buy Pedialyte for adults if you are staying during the hot summer months to avoid dehydration & a trip to the ER or one of the iv stations. It has more electrolytes than sports drinks & water is not enough.
