With two master ensuites—one at ground level and another equally beautiful off the main living area—Avila Tides offers versatile accommodation. The living room features an inviting sectional, perfect for family and friends to gather around the fireplace or enjoy a movie on the generously sized TV. The sectional conveniently transforms into a queen bed for additional sleeping needs.

Two picturesque outdoor spaces offer opportunities for grilling and relaxation. While you don't have to, the gourmet kitchen might tempt you to stay in and cook, offering a captivating view of the central coast mountains.

Within minutes of walking, explore wine tasting, biking and hiking trails, beach activities, excellent restaurants, and charming coffee shops. Nearby, a park with an adjoining basketball court is perfect for kids. In the fall, seize opportunities for concerts, apple picking, and tasting.

Day excursions to Hearst Castle or Big Sur are easily feasible, revealing California's stunning cliffs and hidden beaches. Explore Morro Bay, Cambria, and San Simeon (home to elephant seals). Located just south of San Luis Obispo, a city celebrated as one of the happiest, and surrounded by numerous award-winning wineries. Arrange your visit to coincide with one of our lively Thursday or Friday night farmers markets. Avila Tides provides easy access to the Avila farmers market every Friday night throughout the summer.

Great location, lovely condo

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Avila Tides was a great location-a block from the beach and very comfortable for my family of 5 with 3 teens. We were only there for a few short evenings but enjoyed getting up early, walking a block and getting coffee and sitting at beach. The condo was well appointed and when chilly at night, we turned on fireplace and played games at the table. Would def rent this unit again while visiting daughter at Cal Poly.

It was so convenient to the downtown area and to the beaches--a very quick walk! The home was very clean, and the kitchen was fully stocked and great for preparing a holiday meal. The view from the rooftop patio was beautiful and it seemed like an ideal spot for summertime barbecues!

Great place to spend a long weekend

My husband and I stayed here with our son (who goes to Cal Poly) just before he moved into his house. The space was perfect. Loved the big sliding glass doors off the kitchen that opened up to the deck. The location was great. We walked to dinner each night. We had to go back and forth to SLO during our stay and the drive was super easy. We will definitely stay here again.
