Fair Hill House is a 3 minute walk to Killarney town centre.gardens, shops, pubs, restaurants and many places of interest including Killarney National Park and it's beautiful lakes and mountains.

Killarney is regarded as one of the most picturesque and scenic holiday destinations in Ireland. Fishing, Cycling, Equestrian Centres, Horseriding, GAA pitch ,Boutiques, Craft shops, Gap of Dunloe Tour, Torc Waterfall, Dingle Peninsula Tour, The Skillig Experience, jaunting car rides . Race course and golf are all within easy reach. The property makes an ideal base for touring Ring of Kerry, Dingle and surrounding area.

Lots of room, great location, free parking, personal touches

We loved this property! Four bedroom and five bathrooms with a big kitchen and two living room areas. It was very comfortable. Eileen left treats for us on our arrival -- including fruit, milk, and cakes -- which is always a great delight. She also put up a baby gate, provided a crib and even had toys! Absolutely amazing! When I asked her about a meat thermometer because we wanted to cook a pork roast, she offered to run one over to us. We stayed in seven places in Ireland and Northern Ireland over our extended trip. Only two places provided this kind of personal service. And only one place provided this kind of space and comfort. I definitely would recommend this place to anyone. It was an easy walk into Killarney to enjoy to pubs and shopping. From this location, we explored the Dingle Peninsula and took other side trips as well. It was easy to get around from here. There is a large grocery store not too far from the house, but it is on a round-about so you have to look for it. Smaller grocery stores are within walking distance. The outlet mall is across the street, but it was a bit of a let-down. Lots of shops were empty. Go into town instead. Ireland is full of very friendly people. Killarney was a lovely stop on our trip around the island. Eileen was a big part of that enjoyment. Thank you!

A wonderful place to stay in Killarney

We stayed for 3 wonderful weeks in Eileen Sheahan's beautiful home at 4 Fair Hill in Killarney. The house was beautifully furnished and exceptionally clean.There is on-site parking - a huge plus. When we arrived for our stay our hostess welcomed us with coffee, tea, bottled water, milk, a bowl of fresh fruit, an apple pie and cookies. 4 Fair Hill proved to be an excellent choice. It is as advertised - within an easy walk to Killarney shops, pubs, restaurants. pharmacies, bakeries, churches, jaunting carriages, etc. Nearby are the bus and train stations. The surrounding sights such as The Ring of Kerry, Dingle Peninsula, Muckross House, Blarney Castle, Killarney Natonal Park are also easy to get to. At the end of our stay, Eileen brought us an apple pie and wished us a safe journey home to North Carolina. She asked us if we thought 3 weeks was too long. The answer was no! The longer we stayed the less we wanted to leave.

Clean, spacious, well equipped.

Stayed here for a week on a family trip that included two couples, twos singles, and two children, and a toddler. Very happy with the house. Very clean. Lots of towels and cleaning supplies stocked. Baby gate available. Lots of space for us to be together and also to be away from each other when we needed. Good parking, and a little front garden for the toddler to play. The pantry had all the basics except cooking oil. Tea and biscuits stocked by the owners- very nice after driving in from Dublin. If you want to be near Killarney town centre this is a great spot. If it's available, grab it before it's gone. You won't find a better value. Owners were always prompt with info. Only complaint is that it made the next place we had rented look bad!

Great location, high quality property, ample parking.

We are 7 adults male and female, who stayed in 4 Fairhill in Killarney for two weeks in July 2016, and the accommodation is of a very high standard, the level of fitting out is of a high standard, and we were all very comfortable. We were welcomed by the owner Eileen, who made sure that we were well cater for.

The house itself is much bigger than you would first think when looking on the website and we all easily had enough space to live in. One of the real plus points was the location of this property and it's very close proximity to the Killarney town centre with its very vibrant pub, restaurant, and shop environment.

You could easily walk from the house on a fairly level walk to the town centre and be in a local pub probably within 2 to 3 minutes. You could hear music coming from the pubs and bars all the time. Killarney itself offers all types of cuisine which would easily please all different tastes over a two week period, even if you were to eat out every night.

This is a great location for touring the area, or as a base for 7 golfers which we were.

Golf

With its world famous golf courses including Killeen and O'Mahoney's Point, Killarney truly is a Golfer's paradise. Other famous Kerry courses such as Ballybunion, Ring of Kerry, Kenmare, Dooks and Tralee are all within a short drive of Killarney.

Leisure Centres

Killarney is home to a huge number of Leisure Centres many of which offer daily and weekly membership to families. The leisure Centre with the biggest pool in Killarney, 25 metres is only 5 minute drive away .

Walking

Killarney provides both the rambler and serious walker with the ultimate in diversity. The choices of walks is endless, from the Kerry Way which is the country's longest way-marked trail, to the highest peaks in Ireland - The Macgillycuddy Reeks.

Fishing

The Killarney Lakes are three in number, Lake Leane, Middle Lake and Upper Lake, all of which are all excellent for salmon and brown trout. Boats and gillies can be arranged.

Pony Trekking

Pony trekking is a very popular activity in Killarney. Two of the most popular. Routes are through the National Park and the Gap of Dunloe Trek.

Cycling

Killarney is the perfect place for cycling and bikes are available for hire on a daily or weekly basis.

Jaunting Cars

Killarney is famous for its horse-drawn Jaunting Cars which offer the visitor a novel means of touring the sights.

Killarney National Park is a five minute drive from Fair Hill House. It consists of 25,000 acres of lakes, rivers,mountains, wildlife, and walks .

Killarney Town provides an incredible range of beautiful shops, leisure activities, a multiplex cinema and entertainment that will help you relax and unwind throughout the day and night and a huge selection of restaurants to tempt your buds.

A trip to Killarney would not be complete without experiencing the Ring of Kerry scenic drive around the Iveragh Peninsula or a trip around Dingle.
