Beautiful house and Great Lake fun!! 2 stories with 2 large open deck to the lake. Upper level is the main level and easy access from the drive way with a beautiful kitchen and large living room. Master bedroom with king size bed and master bath with view to the lake and upper deck entry. All stainless appliances, dishwasher refrigerator stove and laundry. Gas stove and a gas fire place. Great WiFi through the house and outside. Lower level has 3 bedrooms with each havingbunk beds and 1 with a full size bed. Large living room downstairs with TV and access to lower deck and lake. Large bathroom with a tub. Gas grill on deck and furniture to enjoy the Lakeviews and good food. Stair ways into the water at the lake and boat dock. Boat ramp easy access near by. Just a few minutes away. Come enjoy this lake house and make good memories with your family.

Do not rent ! What a DUMP!

I walked in and cried it’s so dirty the smell of urine was so strong. We found a urine soaked blanket that smelled so bad we had to move it out of the house. The owner lives there and his stuff was every where. Dog hair in the bed. Food wrappers under beds. The toilet has to be flushed with chopsticks yes chopsticks there is no hot tub the filth is unreal. We cleaned the first 3 hours we were there. The yard is a junk yard. The pictures are lies!

The home was below par. The owner was more than difficult.

We stayed at the home for six days. The plumbing was a problem; toilets wouldn't fully flush, sinks wouldn't drain. We were without wifi and cable for a day. The washer and dryer were a nightmare. There were soaking wet towels in the washer when we arrived and we were unable to get them dry. They began to smell. As a result we had no towels as the week wore on. We rented the jet ski for $600 but were only able to use it for a day and a half as it broke down. Owner wrongfully accused us of mishandling it and refused to refund us even a part of the fee for its use.

Beautiful house but it was not in condition to be rented.

Arrived at the house with grass about 1.5’ high a car parked in the front yard, mildew on the front door and porch and a strong pet odor. I thought, let’s give them the benefit of the doubt. As you walk in to the house you can tell that a lot of money has been spent on the house. Nice furniture and nice light fixtures. However there were children’s toys still out everywhere and didn’t seem like much effort had been made to make it friendly to who might be occupying it. We noticed some sugar ants in the kitchen which isn’t uncommon but as we explored a little further there was a load of dirty dishes in the dishwasher. And the washing machine had clothes running in them. We assumed that we were responsible for swapping those clothes out. As we went out to the back porch there was more mildew and pet hair everywhere and a grill that had not been cleaned in sometime. Also the lawn next to the water had not been trimmed so after contacting the owner about the conditions it was very clear that he was not going to address the issues. So I brought a weed eater and trimmed the grass in the area that we would be using most. We cleaned most of the porch off and moved the toys to the side so that we could easily maneuver in and out of the house. Other than this the refrigerator was mostly full so we kept our food in coolers For the duration of the weekend. We made a commitment to make the best out of the weekend but it could have been a little less stressful if some of the things had been addressed before our arrival.

Just relaxed and enjoyed the lake!

Had a great time, all we had to do was make a grocery run and we were good to go for the week! Owner was very responsive to any needs or questions. Yes there are security cameras however there were clear instructions to unplug them and plug them back in when leaving, not a problem. Rented a boat at the local marina and just enjoyed the lake!

Home purchased in Jan-2014. 1st time to actually see snow as we are from Florida and Wife originally from Brazil. Surprising this even happened in Alabama. We have a 5yr old son and currently live in Birmingham, AL due to school preference for our Son. We have enjoyed the home and now want to share the home with all to enjoy as well. The home was purchased to satisfy our family get away for many years to come and we hope you all can make memories in this home as well.

Why they chose this property

The View is amazing, The deck space allows for Quiet time for adults upstairs while children play downstairs as well as all family up or downstairs spending time together. Quick access to River North Marina for all your needs and wants. Quiet morning and glass top lake for morning skiing or wake boarding. Great location to go fishing in the AM or PM. Large parking area to accommodate several vehicles as well on Quiet Cul de sac.

What makes this property unique

Home is very close to Alexander City, AL for all your restaurants and food. No need to waste a lot of time driving when your at this location but you still feel out in the middle of no where. Home has large areas to allow entire family to feel comfortable.
