Great spot on Lake Willoughby!

Great spot on the lake, fantastic views! Charming lakeside cottage with great access to Lake Willoughby. Our family loved having boats and a dock all to ourselves.

Private Paradise

  • 5 of 5

Relaxing, private, and casual, this cottage was what we were hoping for and more. Exactly like the photos, the location of this hideaway sits on a gorgeous, clean lake in Vermont. We had everything we needed...a quiet, scenic place to unwind, kayaks to explore the lake with, and some challenging hiking trails nearby. Definitely enjoyed our dinners at the lovely Inn up the road, and loved hearing the loons call to each other across the lake. Thanks for a wonderful, charming place to unwind and regroup.

Great Property!

  • 5 of 5

I cannot stress enough how wonderful this property is. The water is just a few steps out the door! We kayaked all day, were visited each morning and night by a family of ducks, and swam like fish! The location is great. It's private and the only neighbors are really friendly, (our son played with theirs for days!). There's a nice restaurant at the Inn a little ways down the road. A cliff jump, hiking, and Sunset Rock within a mile. And the beach is a three minute drive or great to kayak to. The house has charm, it's well maintained, and has everything you need. Overall a wonderful stay and would recommend!

Private, picturesque & perfect!

  • 5 of 5

Beautifully maintained & appointed, with plenty of room to relax both inside and out. Really enjoyed the sunsets right on the water, and all the privacy we wanted. The inn up the hill had wonderful bakery & preserves, total treat! Took a great day trip to Stowe while we were there, what a gorgeous drive, and saw the cool field that was home to a Pfish concert a few years ago.. loved those funky trees! No complaints about singing around the campfire 'til midnight either...felt like owners instead of vacationers...loved it and will be back!!

Charming, comfy and peaceful

  • 5 of 5

This has got to be one of the loveliest cottages my childre and I have ever stayed at. It is meticulously clean and perfectly decorated. It felt like home! I loved waking to the sound of the lake and stepping right out the front door to sit and sip my coffee on the sweet little sandy beach. The teens fished from the dock and took the kayaks (provided) across the lake to explore with a picnic. The cute cottagey kitchen has every thing you need to create a fabulous meal. Sitting by the rustic fire pit at night roasting marshmellows as the stars pop out was our favorite. It rained one day but it didn't matter. The cottage has a ton of games, puzzles and cards to keep the kids busy. There is cliff jumping, a bigger beach and many hikes right up the road. Everything was so convenient, there is even an Inn a block up from the cottage to enjoy a nice meal out. The picturesque few of the lake and surrounding mountains was enough for me to enjoy lounging in my beach chair while the kids swam. We can't wait to go back to "our" lovely Nodaway.
