About Teresa Houser and or Earl Houser
My parents built this little cabin on the land my Dad grew up on! My Dad grew up dirt poor, but managed to put my sister and I through college without borrowing a dime! The cabin is built much the same way, no loans, no extras, just the basics with lots of hard work and dedication! The planks on the outside are from two large pine trees we cut off the land, and the pond is feed by a well that has not gone dry in over 70 years! This is just our little bit of heaven we hope others enjoy!
Teresa Houser and or Earl Houser purchased this Cabin in 2007

Lovely Rural Getaway
This cabin was exactly what I was looking for! Cozy, comfortable, and clean—away from the hustle and bustle of the city but with good cell reception (Verizon) and a close drive to groceries. I loved turning the fireplace on at night and going for walks through the woods behind the cabin. The pond (and the cows across the street) make for a great view out the window. I would definitely stay here again.
Thank you for staying at Country Cabin! My Dad said he enjoyed talking with you!
We loved our stay at this property! It was perfect for our family of four, including two boys ages 7 and 9. The house was sparkling clean and well-stocked. The property was a lot of fun to explore and hike through the woods; the boys loved hearing the cows mooing across the street. We also enjoyed exploring Noccalula Falls, just a short drive away. We played games by the gas fire and roasted s’mores in the fire pit outside. It was a peaceful, unplugged getaway, and we hope to come back! Thank you!
We are so glad you all enjoyed your stay! Most people love it for the same reason you listed! Perfect place to unplug!
Hope you visit again!
Awesome little cabin with everything you need!
Very quick check in. Right away the cabin has the feel of home. All you need is you and food. The cabin has board games, cornhole, a large pond, and walking trail. The place has all the dishes you will need. It also has a washer and dryer and dish washer. My family and I had a great time and would definitely it again. When we can.
We are glad you enjoyed our Country Cabin! Thank you for taking care of the property and we look forward to your next visit!
