Ryan purchased this House in 2015
Why Ryan chose Saint Paul Park
We have always wanted to own riverfront, with historic reference, in a home large enough to host family events, with land large enough to share with the animals.
What makes this House unique
This property, has plenty of wildlife, turkeys, deer, coyotes, eagles, racoons, groundhogs, catfish, walleye, crappie, bluegill, northern, bass, turtles, and even beavers. Its been used for 1000 years as hunting grounds, and this area is known for having the largest concentration of burial mounds in Minnesota. Uniquely situated in a cove that is protected from the main waters of the river, yet giving access to the river and all its fun and recreation.

Great long weekend getaway with family
We had three families staying for a long weekend (7 adults and two kids under 5). The house was big enough that we never felt cramped, and had plenty of family areas for socializing. The media room was great for watching movies or kids shows on Netflix. The kids loved the playset and running around in the back yard when the weather was nice. We took out the kayaks and enjoyed being on the water. The kitchen was big enough that most of the adults could be working on dinner (or socializing) and not get in each other's way. The house is set on the water in the country a bit, but close enough (~10 min) to a grocery store and some shops. We ventured into the Twin Cities on a couple of the days which was nice. The beds were comfy, and there is an air mattress that we used as well. Check-in was great. They showed us around the house and how to work the media equipment. When we had questions or needed something they were very quick to respond. We enjoyed our time here and would definitely consider staying again in the future.
This was an excellent property for an extended family gathering. We had small children and the amenities of the property made our visit very enjoyable (outdoor play structure, video room and space to spread out).
Spring Break Getaway
We had a wonderful time and this house was amazing. It had everything we needed to cook breakfast each morning. We loved the theatre room and enjoyed movies each night. It truly is a wonderful retreat no matter what time of year.
perfect home for what we needed it for. Amenities were plenty. kids got to toboggan and skate on the
The house was extremely comfortable. The kids loved the entertainment room. plenty of dishes and cooking supplies. Close to the city but far enough away to feel like you away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Loved skating on the river and tobogganing down the hill behind the house.
Great location and home for getting together with family!
House was fantastic, property wonderful!
Great location, perfect for our trip to enjoy a wedding and family!
Great family vacation with 6 adults and 5 kids. Plenty of room to come together for meals and games or stretch out for individual down time! Although it rained our whole visit, the kids didn't seem to mind with the theater room and spacious floor plan. When the weather did break, the play set was a favorite.
Kitchen was well equipped with double coffee pot, a dozen place settings, glasses and flatware; pots and pans as well. The grill was especially nice as we invited friends over. Beds and bedding were very comfortable and towels galore. Ryan met us when we arrived and showed us around and how everything worked. It was nice to have so much provided. I wish we would have had more time to enjoy the fishing and kayaks.
We drove into both cities and it usually averaged about a 30 minute drive, so we were happy with the location as well.
