Damage and incidentals
You will be responsible for any damage to the rental property that is caused by you or your party during your stay.
Los Alcazares is located on the Mar Menor, a large salt water lagoon separated from the Med by the La Manga strip. In summer months, the waters of the Mar Menor are several degrees warmer than the Med and its gently shelving and netted beaches and calm waters make it a safe environment for those with children. There are several towns within easy reach on the Mar Menor, all offering an interesting inside into the Spanish way of life with lively markets and excellent tapas bars and restaurants. Some 20 minutes drive is the ancient town of Cartegena, with its Roman and Moorish ruins. A delightful town to wile away a few hours, whether it be walking along its narrow streets or taking in a glass of wine on the newly refurbished harbor front, a popular stopping point for cruise liners. 40 minutes brings you to the regional capital Murcia - recommended for its architecture, whether it be the cathedral or the bull ring that takes your fancy.
Golf: There are a number of golf courses with 10-20 minutes drive of the apartment.
Stephen & Kim Welch
About Stephen & Kim Welch
We first purchased a family home in los alcazares in 1999 and then decided to add an apartment in 2005, for use by our family and friends. We then decided to offer it to other guests, who could enjoy the very homely feel of this apartment and our friendly neighbours in what is a small development, with its own swimming pool, including a small childrens pool, which is accessed conveniently from our back gate.
Stephen & Kim Welch purchased this Apartment in 2005
Why Stephen & Kim Welch chose Los Alcazares
This was built by a small local developer and we liked the quality of his work, which we had seen in other developments around the los alcazares area. We wanted to purchase in a small development and we also required a swimming pool, which not all properties provide. In addition, we liked the additional security aspects of the property with a strong, steel front door and lighting around the development.
What makes this Apartment unique
The property is well laid out and has the benefit of (a) being on the ground floor (b) direct access onto the swimming pool area and (c) very secure with locked gates into the block and swimming pool area.
