This place has it all
We loved our stay at the cabin. It's rare to find a place that combines character with comfort -- but this place does it. There's plenty of room for everyone as well as a nice living room with a huge picture window looking out into a quintessential Berkshire scene. Nice touch: the record player and extensive vinyl collection. Charles was great throughout the process ... Highly recommend.

Exactly as described. Truly a log cabin.
Our family had so much fun staying in this log cabin for the weekend. We were there to attend our Nieces wedding. Having our adult children and grandchildren with us was wonderful! The home was large enough for all of us, had everything we needed and more! Watching the grandkids playing in the yard while we sat on the porch talking and enjoying a nice glass of wine was so relaxing. The woods, the trails and the complete solitude made for a very wonderful time. Our 5 year old grandson said he wanted to live there forever😀 we have been in contact with Steven and hope to return for another family weekend next month. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us.

Amazing Vacation House...
Had a great stay at this rental. We rented this during the Sept long weekend and we enjoyed to our utmost. The house had all the amenities including internet, TV , games and grill. Definitely in our mind for our next trip in future. We will definitely recommend this for a relaxing and peaceful vacation. Also like to mention the great hospitality the owner showed to us. They were very friendly and courteous. Always available when needed. Thanks again for the great vacation and quality time spent.

Why they chose this property

I started coming to the Berkshires in the early 2000s for an annual show at the Schantz gallery in Stockbridge MA. I fell in love with the natural beauty and artistic vibrancy of the Berkshires and thought it would be a wonderful place to retreat with my family and find inspiration for my art. "The Cabin" as my family and I describe it, has done all of that and more. Whether it is hiking the Appalachian trail, attending concerts at Tanglewood, visiting the Norman Rockwell Museum, Swimming at Bish Bash Falls, Skiing Butternut, or cooking big meals with my family, some of my best moments have been spent here. There are many amazing properties in the Berkshires, all of them special, but what sets the cabin apart for me is the love and joy spending time there has brought me.

What makes this property unique

While we cannot verify this, the previous owner told is that the poet Alan Ginsberg used to come to the cabin and write.
