Modern Home with all the essentials for a family

  • 4 of 5

We were very impressed with Glenachoor. Our family is large...7 of us, so we need space!! And we needed a place near Ballybunion. This home is ideally located and reasonable priced, plus it is newer and has all the needs of an American family!!

We will definitely stay here again when we return to Ireland, as we have grandparents living in Listowel.

The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because I found the bed very hard and the TV in our room had little or no reception.

A great holiday home

  • 5 of 5

We booked Glenachoor for 5 adults. Fabulous beaches only a couple of minutes away in either direction from the house. The house, facilities and view all exceeded expectations. The panoramic view from the lounge and the spaciousness of the house meant that the accommodation was perfect for all of us. Perfect base to explore the area but also to travel further afield, a trip worth doing is to travel via the Tarbert- Killimer ferry and on to Carrigaholt in Clare to go out on the dolphin trip . We loved our time there, hope to go back someday. The dogs loved the garden and the beaches nearby. Thank you to Padraig for the welcome received. Ella, Conor, Bridget, Ken, Jamie , Mikko and Jari — 11 Jul-2015.

We stayed at this beautiful home for 2 weeks. Normally you see pictures of properties and more often than not they don't live up to expectation. Not in this case however, and the photos, as good as they are, do not show just how fabulous this home is. Large, luxurious property, with great attention to detail to make it a really special place to stay. Large enclosed garden for the children to play in, and watching the sun set over the sea each evening was pretty special. Location wise it is perfect. Ballybunion is a sweet little town with a lovely beach and a park for the little ones, which our children took full advantage of. The area is beautiful and we did a few drives out to some stunning places, with scenery to take your breath away. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to all. Book it, you will not be disappointed. Thanks to Padraig for your helpfulness from start to finish.

Great place to relax

  • 5 of 5

A really beautifully designed and furnished house, with fantastic space that allows you your own privacy whilst still having a great communal space for all to spend time together and relax. We were with a group of friends and our aim was to relax and catch up. For us this was the perfect house and place to do this.... Would really highly recommend whether you are a smaller or large group. Great walks nearby and gorgeous scenery.

A truly amazing experience!!!!

  • 5 of 5

The photos on this site don't even start to pay justice to what a stunning property this is - It really is first class with amazing space and top quality furniture and fittings... incredibly comfortable. It is set in a very beautiful part of Kerry and was a great base for us whether we decided to stay local and wander along the spectacular Bromore cliffs... or of course from which to explore the beautiful Ring of Kerry.

We really cannot recommend enough and hope to be back again!!! Thanks to Padraig and all!!
