Guestbook comments from the owner

Denmark was beautiful in Oct.! The foliage absolutely stunning, and as always the people in that area so nice. The earthquake was interesting, fish abundant, great week overall. Thank you for all your help in arranging this getaway. Truly appreciate all you efforts.

Stunning views of the lake. A quiet and serene location. A place to gather your thoughts and unplug

  • 5 of 5

5th time renting this house. The owner continues to do updates and improvements yearly. This years update was a brand new kitchen. The lake was very quiet this year and so calm every morning. The house has everything you could need and it is so nice to unplug for the week and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Great dining nearby but we just love using the grill and enjoying the evenings relaxing on the deck.

Beautiful, serene lake setting that just keeps getting better every year.

  • 5 of 5

This is my families 4th time staying at this property and it just keeps getting better. The owner makes several improvements to the house every year. The lake is beautiful and serene. We love taking the paddle boat or canoe out on the lake with the kids. Tons of stuff to do if you want to venture out but we just like to chill by the lake if the weather is good.

The grandkids loved the new floating dock & it certainly got well used with all that HOT weather.

We love coming here & hope that we can continue to enjoy it for years to come.

Making memories is one of our favorite pasttimes!

Thanks for sharing your home.

The Perfect Getaway!

  • 5 of 5

This is a great place to stay! The house is spotless, and has everything you need. It's obvious the owners want you to feel comfortable on your vacation, and you will.

We have visited Western Maine many times. Denmark is our favorite town. It's a very pretty and peaceful place, yet close enough to stores, restaurants, etc. The owners have a very detailed info book on places to go, which is very helpful. The new screened porch is perfect for rainy days. The lake is quiet, pristine, and has lots of fish. Mornings are a special time listening to the loons call out while the mist rises over the water. We had a wonderful week...wish I was still there!

The Perfect Vacation

  • 5 of 5

Our family had a wonderful time in this beautiful location. The lake was so peaceful and tranquil - the loon calls were the only sounds we heard on a regular basis. We enjoyed exploring the lake in the canoe and paddle boat, swimming (the water temp was warmer than I expected), and fishing. The house is also very comfortable and well-equipped. Our children (8 and 3) loved playing in the fully finished basement with the many toys that were provided. We were looking for a relaxing family getaway and we found it. We can't wait to go back next year!

Summer vacation July 2011

  • 5 of 5

Our family loved their stay in Maine. The house was wonderful and the kids really enjoyed swimming and fishing. They all enjoyed the many toys in the basement as well as the toys they could play with in the water. It is close to attractions and we took the family on a riverboat ride which they all enjoyed. The home was clean and comfortable for everyone. Melissa was very easy to deal with and always responded quickly to any questions we had. We would recommend this home to anyone who would like a queit, relaxing vacation with or without the family.
