Get away from it all at this waterfront North Fork hideaway on 1.5 acres. Watch the ever changing light on Peconic Bay from the private 100 ft. beach, sunny deck, brick patio or comfortable living room.

Three bedrooms (2 with water views), 1 1/2 baths, hot water outdoor shower with changing area, fully equipped kitchen, and dining room opening onto a deck. Great family location, where everyone can relax and have fun!

Less than 2 hours from NYC. Easy access from CT by ferry from New London or Bridgeport. NYC airports 1 1/2 hours away.

The Unique North Fork: The North Fork of Long Island is a beautiful and unique area to visit. It has retained its rural charm and it's agricultural roots. It's hard to believe it's only 90 miles from New York City. During the summer months local fruits and vegetables are available at nearby farm stands. Fresh local seafood can be found at fish markets in nearby towns. To complete your meal, stop at a local vineyard to pick up a bottle of wine. All of this abundance is surrounded by water- Long Island Sound to the north, and the Peconic Bay to the South. You can even visit an island in the Peconic Bay; access to Shelter Island is via ferry from Greenport. Travel across Shelter Island to another ferry that will take you to the South Fork (aka The Hamptons) and Sag Harbor.

Our Unique Waterfront Property: Our house sits on the waterfront of the Great Peconic Bay, with views of the South Fork and Robins Island. We have our own private beach, just steps away from the house. You may not want to go anywhere else as you can sit and look at the water from the house, the deck, our new brick patio or the beach. There are however many interesting historic towns and sites to visit. You may be lured away by the great restaurants that serve locally grown food. Don't miss the opportunity to get a delicious pie from Junda's Bakery in Jamesport! You can work up an appetite swimming in the bay waters, or walking down the beach. When the tide is low, you can walk to the Jamesport Town Beach where there is also a playground and marina. We hope you will enjoy the peacefulness of this beautiful area.

The house has everything needed for a perfect vacation--very clean, all necessary amenities, comfortable furniture and an incredible view of the Peconic Bay. The property is very large and the private beach on the Peconic is spectacular.

Located in the heart of Long Island wine and farm country, where you can visit nearby wineries, excellent restaurants and abundant farm stands.

Enjoy many outdoor activities: bicycling, kayaking, walking the beach, swimming, fishing, or clamming. Anchor your boat out front, boat launch is 1 mile away. 20 minutes to 'The Hamptons' and ocean beaches. Also nearby: Splish-Splash Water Park, Greenport, Shelter Island, golf courses, Atlantis Aquarium in Riverhead, and Tanger Outlets.
