Located 3 blocks from the Mediterranean Sea in one of Antibe's newest, most prestigious, secure buildings. The building, '26 Albert Ier', is in the heart of the most desirable section of Antibes. This 3-bedroom apartment is on the 6th floor, (the 5th etage), in a new luxury building, with an elevator to its 8 stories and parking garage. The view from the apartment's very large front balcony, which has an al fresco dining table, includes the sea, the mountains, the Old City, and parts of Antibes' center, the Place de Gaulle.

The charming and historic city of Antibes was founded by the Greeks c. 500 B. C., and then became part of the Roman Empire c. 150 B.C. The old portion of the City, which is 2 blocks to the east of the apartment, is still partially surrounded by magnificent 17th century ramparts.

The apartment is located in the most convenient part of Antibes, and makes a perfect home base from which to explore the City itself, and also, on either day trips or overnight stays, to explore the entire Cote d'Azur, as well as Provence.

The apartment consists of 3 bedrooms, one of which has a queen-sized bed and an en suite bathroom, with the other 2 bedrooms each having 2 twin beds. All bedrooms have French doors leading to either the front or rear balconies. Other rooms include a living room, a kitchen, a dining area, a second bathroom and a separate W.C. Furnishings are a tasteful mix of antique and contemporary pieces. There is an underground parking garage, with a private garage door securing the apartment's enclosed parking space.

Dear Bill,

We had a wonderful stay in Antibes. Your apartment was perfect - spotlessly clean, comfortable and more spacious than it seems from the photos. We loved staying so close to the centre, as on our previous visits we have always had to drive into town. Access was very smooth with the wheelchair. We managed to get our 7-seater car into the garage too, which we were not expecting from reading your notes. My husband was very proud of his parking skills!

Great home base to see the French Riviera!

We loved staying at this beautiful condominium just steps to the Mediterranean Sea. It was beautifully furnished, ultra clean and thoughtfully stocked with all the comforts of home. It also had a large balcony with a great view of the sea and three bedrooms (took me awhile to locate one with 3). It also had an indoor parking space.

The days we stayed in the area we never got into our car. We walked to the beach, the grocery store, the downtown, the Old Town section and (the highlight of my week), the Picasso Museum.

The other days we took day trips to Monaco, a perfumerie in Fragonard, Canne, and a beach club. All were easy destinations from Antibe.

We hope to return to the area again and would not hesitate to return to this property.

Everything you need!

This condo was perfect for our one-week trip to Antibes. It was a perfect walking distance to everything you need, but perfectly situated enough distance from the crowds of tourists. Communication leading up to our stay was easy, and we didn't have any hiccups while we were there. The apartment is clean, simple, and stocked with everything you need. We also really appreciated that we had a kitchen and beautiful balcony, so we could prepare meals, save a little money, and still enjoy a great view! We loved coming home from a day of sightseeing, stopping at the market on our way home, and having some cheese and wine outside! I'd highly recommend staying here.

Fabulous Apartment

Antibes is magical and this apartment is so perfectly located that we never even bothered to rent a car until we left for Provence. The location of the apartment is central to everything! Old town and great restaurants are just a short walk away. Our favorite part of each day was walking from the apartment in the late afternoon down to the small public beach. We would take a swim and just sit on the beach and watch the local families interact. The beach is at the bottom of the street and there is a taxi stand across the street from the apartment that can take you to the beaches and resorts in Juan les Pins.

My husband and I decided to try the train to Cannes and were blown away by how easy it was to walk 10 minutes to the train station, hop on a train that came every 20 minutes and arrive in Cannes in less than 10 minutes. A three block walk from the train put us right on the Promenade in Cannes! No hassle with parking!!!

As for the apartment itself, it has everything you could need, a fully equipped kitchen, laundry and three comfortable bedrooms. There is also a lovely balcony overlooking the city where we had breakfast each morning. The building is very attractive and well maintained.

We are already contemplating our next trip to Antibes and definitely plan to rent this apartment again!

I Love This Apartment!

I love this rental and the area where it’s located. My latest stay at this apartment was actually my second and I’m hoping there will soon be a third! Seaside Antibes has so much to offer from shopping to wonderful restaurants to a beautiful scenic beach for relaxing and swimming. Early each morning I walked to the neighborhood bakery’s to bring back warm breads and pastries for the family. Routinely, I would stop at one of the quaint sidewalk cafes for a coffee to watch the locals and shopkeepers. It was one of my favorite activities during my stay. Often, we headed for the beach that is a short walk down the Avenue. We had the option of sunbathing on the beach or renting a lounger and having lunch at the beach club which is a real treat and extremely comfortable.

The vast number of restaurants ranges from four-star gourmet to more moderate fare but my favorite is located under the covered market place and serves moules and frittes (mussels and fries). Although we love the nearby restaurants, some of our favorite meals were cooked at home and eaten on the lovely balcony. There’s a wonderful fresh fish stand outside of the local market that is a stone’s throw from the apartment. The apartments kitchen is fully stocked so cooking and food preparation is a snap. My husband loves walking the neighborhood for breads, fruits, cheeses, fish and of course wine and preparing dinner while we watch the beautiful sunset and luxury yachts on the Mediterranean Sea.

Like the kitchen, the apartment is ultra comfortable and beautifully decorated. It is bright and immaculate. A plus is the gorgeous marble-type floors throughout and would love to have them in my home in the States. Having three bedrooms worked out perfectly for us. The master bath was a perk for my husband and I. The two other bedrooms were light and airy and our guests remarked how comfortable they were.

I’ve travelled extensively throughout Europe and I continue to return to this area (and this apartment.) If you are looking for ultra relaxation but be able to immerse yourself in the local scene I would highly recommend this rental.

Brilliant views, Beautiful Home!

Couldn't have asked for a better experience in this beautiful Antibes home. Literally steps away from the rolling waves of the Mediterranean, quaint shopping and delicious restaurants. The flat, as well as the building, are well maintained and perfectly polished both inside and out. We found many of the conveniences of home, from the laundry and dishwasher, to the beach towels and snorkels for guests! Bedrooms are spacious and are all equipped with electric shades to allow for much needed beauty rest. The units' two balconies provided the perfect setting for a morning coffee or late night wine and cheese snack.

Easy walk to old town, the city center, and even Juan-les-pins! Would highly recommend, and would absolutely stay again!!

Location, Location, Location.

As the saying goes the three most important things about a property are Location, Location, Location. Well this apartment is three minutes steady walk to the sea front and not much more to the town centre. We thought this to be the best possible compromise.

The building exterior, interior and apartment itself and are very well maintained.

It's situated on one of the main roads in Antibes but is not at all noisy. We had seven nights peaceful sleep.

There is a large balcony off the main living room which was perfect for breakfast and evening meals. It's hot but not in direct sunlight. Again for us a perfect compromise.

If you are self catering there is an Intermarche, Monoprix and Carrefour supermarket all within walking distance.

The apartment has its own secure garage. It's not big so if you're taking a car I wouldn't go much bigger than a VW polo or similar.

Overall we had a great time and would throughly recommend.
