Oceanfront single-family house located at the mouth of Netarts Bay and Hodgdon Creek, near Oceanside and Tillamook, Oregon. The cottage overlooks Netarts Bay, the Oregon Islands Wildlife Refuge and the Pacific Ocean. Eden's Garden is two stories, has three bedrooms and sleeps eight comfortably. Its on a bluff over the beach - with lots of windows and spectacular views. You can walk from the cottage directly to the ocean beach on our private path, or lounge on our deck, which overlooks the Pacific.

The cottage features a full kitchen, including a range & oven, a microwave, a toaster oven, silverware, dishware, pots and pans, a coffee maker, a French Press, a coffee grinder, oven, dishwasher, washer and dryer and a barbecue. We provide all towels and linens. There will be at least 2 HD TVs with premium DirectTV channels, Netflix and a Blue Ray player.

Eden's Garden has three queen-size beds in separate bedrooms, plus a queen-size fold-out couch with a premium grade mattress in the living room. Sleeping cots and pads can also be made available for your use upon request. The cottage comfortably sleeps eight, and sometimes can accommodate larger groups too. All bedrooms have ocean views.

The area features some excellent restaurants, lots of wildlife, state parks, and many other different types of activities. Seals nest on sandbars offshore from the cottages, Great Blue Heron fish in the waters off our beach, Pelicans sail in the sky, and in the summer wild roses and lilies bloom in the yard. The area is known for Dungeness crabbing, fresh clams and oysters, fishing and whale watching, and is part of the Three Capes Scenic Route.

Netarts is a quiet, non-touristy village of a few hundred people. It's one of the closest ocean beaches to Portland, Oregon (75 miles, or a 90 minute drive). There are 2 small grocery stores a short walk from the cottage. Major stores & services are available eight miles away in Tillamook.

We allow pets, with permission and with payment of a wear-n-tear fee. The local beaches are "pet friendly" and are almost never crowded.

Cute house in a great location
Cute house that was very well equipped for our stay. The stairs to the beach would be a bit treacherous for people with mobility issues, but it was fine for our group. The beach you can access from the property is small and sparsely populated, so it was great for our kids and pups to run around.

SIMPLY AMAZING.
The pictures do not do this property and area justice... it's so much better! We had an incredible time. The house is older but well kept and clean with the most gorgeous views... but honestly, we were hardly in it. The rooms are all upstairs, which we loved since we had kids with us. Fully stocked kitchen and a good-sized dining and living area. Doug sends an amazing list of things to do around the area and we hit up as much as we could. Our kids loved clamming for gapers literally right in front of the house, crabbing for Dungeness crabs at the boat ramp about a minute away, and finding all kinds of little sea life- bright purple and red starfishes, little spider crabs, cockles and little sand fishes. Sunset is more than gorgeous. Would 100% recommend and would definately come back.

A Bit Worn Down but Right on Beach
It's definitely well worn. Chairs with rips in them, floor tiles peeling up, screens missing in windows, electrical issues, and a mildew smell in the very tiny shower. It is right on the beach though and very quiet, so that is nice. The town is small, so you'll need to drive into Tillamook for most things.

What a great house and location
This place was better than described. We loved the location. The view was great and proximity to beach was excellent. The cabin was clean, had everything we needed and was much bigger than expected. We will come again.

Beach lover, crabber, fishing, kayaker, programmer, consultant, writer, dad, and handy guy to have around. Experienced manager and owner of vacation rental properties -- I've owned rentals for decades, and I frequently advise owners, managers and government officials on issues related to vacation rental operations.

Why they chose this property

Its one of the most beautiful areas of the North Oregon coast. It is located in a quiet rural coastal village and it doesn't feel like a tourism destination at all. We aim to provide a clean and comfortable vacation rental experience.

What makes this property unique

A great place to relax, watch the birds and the crabbers, harvest fresh seafood and experience the drama of the Pacific Ocean. Prime spot for whale-watching during migration season. One of the best views on the Oregon Coast, in the beautiful Three Capes Scenic Route area.
