Apartment in the most exclusive area of Barcelona, on Passeig de Gracia

The Passeig de Gracia is the most elegant and popular boulevard of Barcelona or perhaps in Spain. You will find shops shops of brands likeLouis Vuitton, Prada, Chanel, and also buildings considered world heritage, galleries, restaurants of all kinds including Michelin star restaurantes (Moo, Moments, Alchemy) and luxury hotels like the House Fuster, the Mandarin Oriental or the Majestic.

The building is located in the heart of the city, on the luxurious Passeig de Gracia. It is a stately house fully renovated a few years ago, with 2 modern lifts.

On the upper two floors of the building there are 4 modern apartments, 1 and 2 bedrooms, some of them with a magnificent terrace overlooking the Passeig de Gracia.The building also has concierge.

The apartments are fully equipped to ensure a luxurious stay in Barcelona.

Although the building has no parking, we have an agreement with a car park which is a few meters away, with easy access.

This luxury apartment is located in the most exclusive avenue of Barcelona, where you can find the most prestigious shops, 5 star hotels, Michelin-starred restaurants and some of the best art galleries in the city.

The apartment has an area of 50 m2 and a 30m2 terrace overlooking the Pedrera, the Sagrada Familia, and the sea beyond. Guests can dine by candlelight, enjoy a glass of wine or sunbathe in privacy.

The apartment has a separate quiet room with double bed and large wardrobe.

The living room has a sofa that turns into a comfortable double bed. It is equipped with a 42 inch LED TV. The dining table seats 4 guests.The living room has direct access to the terrace.

The kitchen, also overlooking the terrace, is fully equipped with washer, dryer, dishwasher, oven, microwave, fridge, freezer and all the utensils necesary to prepare a fancy dinner.

The apartment has a bathroom with a large separate shower.

Great location / view, mediocre apartment.

First the good... The area & view.

Now the bad, we have rented numerous homes and apartments all over the world. This apartment was by far of the lowest quality. Poor housekeeping, Cheap IKEA furnishings, 2 thin towels, sheets with holes, television doesn't have cable, so if you don't speak the language, your cut off from the world. The kitchen ( the reason we prefer apartments over hotels ), was horrible. Low quality cookware, a cheap electric stove ( every other European home we've rented had induction stoves ), the only knife for food prep was a bread knife, seriously one knife, a couple cheap plastic utensils , and a $10.00 coffee maker. I used the kitchen once, having to use 3 tiny sauce pans to boil enough water for pasta. There were no sponges, rags for clean up, I had to go out and purchase those myself.

The bathroom sink, the shower, and the kitchen sink had super slow drainage, leaving nasty residue if you happen to shave or do any basic clean up. There were no wash cloths provided, we had to purchase those our selves.

The floors are plastic laminate , and all the furnishings are plastic as well. My dorm room was more luxurious and better equipped then this place. The building seems to be dominated by offices , so there's no residential charm at all.
