Wonderful flat in an excellent location
We really enjoyed our stay in this excellent Marchmont flat. It's very well equipped and has everything you could need for a wonderful stay. Location is excellent. We were able to walk to everywhere we needed. Communication with Lynn was very good and she even let us check out later because no one was arriving the following day which was very helpful as we were meeting our family for brunch round the corner. We'd definitely recommend this flat.

Perfect place
I LOVE this flat. It is clean, comfortable, homey. It is the best supplied flat in which I have stayed - and I have stayed in several in Scotland and France. It is in a wonderful area .. Marchmont is best ... close to shops, the best cafe (Birchwood) and easy access to buses and to the wonderful Edinburgh parks - especially the Meadows. And I love the little garden - so private and a great place to sit in the sun. And there was sun. I would stay here again - and hope to do so - in an Edinburgh minute. Vivian June 10to 24, 2023 .

Wonderful property
The flat is nicely presented and very spacious, in a beautiful part of Edinburgh, located a pleasant 30 minute stroll from the city centre. The owner was very helpful and prompt in replying to any queries. She had very kindly provided us with a variety of provisions such as wine, biscuits etc and the flat was very well equipped with everything you could need, from hair straighteners to hand wash. It was very useful having two bathrooms and both bedrooms were spacious, as was the lounge. It’s possible to park very close to the property for free during weekends but there is a charge for week days. Overall we were very impressed with the property and would definitely stay here again.

Highly Recommended
Lynne is an exceptional host and the flat is wonderful. She has thought of everything to make your stay easy and comfortable. A basket with treats was waiting for us as well as milk and juice in the fridge. The flat is steps from a Sainsbury’s and a Co-op. Steps from bus stops as well, making for quick access to the city centre and the Royal Mile. I would love to stay again. Fiona M.

Very cozy
This was a very nice & clean apartment (flat). Perfect for my friend & I to stay for a few days. We walked every day which took about 30 minutes to get to the Royal Mile. The only negative I have is there is NO parking provided. So if you have a car, you need to pay for parking each day (M-F)(and that was NOT user friendly).

I am from Edinburgh but have lived many other places and travelled widely but Edinburgh will always be my home :-)

Why they chose this property

The house belonged to our mother and we decided that she would love that we opened it up to visitors to Edinburgh as that was what she did most of her life. When she retired to moved the Marchmont, she just loved being part of the community and sitting in the garden and getting to know her neighbours and chatting to passers-by.
