The Villa’s stone paved terrace enjoys breathtaking views of natural beauty, and boasts the panoramic sea view and the amazing sunsets! Built in a traditional style, this Villa provides a relaxing base for your stay, as well as the whole area, that will give you the sense of paradise and promises that you will have a dream holiday, comfort and hospitality! More often than not, the traditional style of architecture of the Villa is very appealing to our guests, not only because they are very attractive, but also because they reflect the culture and long history of Crete.

While outdoors, sit on the comfortable sun beds by the unique, free shaped pool (0.7-1.6 meters deep) and enjoy the magnificent views of the surrounding area and hills and the refreshing country air. Soak up the sun around the pool terrace and be charmed by nature’s music, harmonically combined with the perfume of wild Cretan countryside! To make things even better, there is a sitting area, under the trees where you can rest, read your summer books and enjoy the company of your loved ones. Additionally, you can try preparing your meals at the BBQ facilities available and try al fresco dining at the large veranda. Last but not least, this Villa has its own yard and garden where healthy biological (organic) vegetables are grown. Interior
Alexis Villa offers a variety of comfortable accommodation to suit your needs. Αn enormous lounge with six sofas, and an impressive fire place, where you can sit and enjoy your company with family or friends and a large traditional wooden dining area, are there to welcome you. Be charmed by the feeling of warmth that you receive by the beautiful design and the combination of stone and wood, that will offer you the chance to meet with the Cretan traditional style. The ground floor consists of a large fully equipped kitchen which is fully equipped and totally functional, if you want to have your meals at home! Additionally, there are three bedrooms, two doubles and one bedroom with single beds. The master bedroom features a large wooden bed and ensuite bathroom with a hydromassage bathtub and also offers direct access to the veranda, which is equipped with patio furniture…ideal for relaxing after a long day exploring! Additionally, the second double bedroom is also equipped with a wonderful wooden bed and its balcony overlooks the pool. Finally the third bedroom, is beautifully designed and also offers veranda access and boasts amazing views over the surrounding countryside area!

Location Overview :

Episkopi is a small town near to the city of Rethimno, overlooking the northern coast of Crete, and the green and fertile valley of Mousselas river. Episkopi is the administrative and commercial centre of the area, providing quite a few facilities such as tavernas, supermarkets, a bakery, an ATM machine, a post office, as well as a fish shop and a butchery.
The homonym beach Episkopi is located really close, just 5 minutes away by car, in a fertile valley with lowlands. It is a long beach, which is sandy and shallow, like most beaches of Northern Crete. It is very well organised, since there are many hotels, restaurants, taverns, bars and all the amenities one could need. In the western part of the beach you can find places with lifeguards, showers, changing rooms, umbrellas, snack bars, water sports, etc., perfect for children. However, given its large size, you can certainly find a quiet spot, especially in the eastern part. Lastly, at the beginning of the beach on the east side there is an opportunity for naturism.
Then you could visit the neighbouring village of Argiroupolis, with its springs and lush vegetation…a taste of Cretan paradise, breathtaking view for your eyes, calming water sounds from waterfalls for your ears and divine taste for your mouth!
Moreover, Lake Kournas is also located in close proximity. A beautiful freshwater lake in the midst of a mountain backdrop, you can sunbathe around the lake, there are sun beds, or if you prefer, go swimming in the lake, hire a pedalo (it takes about an hour to get all around the lake) or enjoy a meal in one of the plenty restaurants around the lake. Also, a tennis court could be found in Kournas area.
Furthermore, Petres beach is located at the eastern end of the vast beachfront of Episkopi It is named after the imposing Petres Gorge that finishes here. All around there are some facilities such as, restaurants, a diving school, etc. In the main cove of Vythos, which lies north of the others, there are umbrellas and it is less sandy. The rocky seabed is ideal for fishing and snorkelling.
