About Robert Carey
I grew up in the Midwest and went to the University of Missouri - Columbia. Upon graduation I entered the Air Forces and served for 7 years at Edwards AFB. After separating I've worked in the Defense industry and have resided in Tucson for over 21 years. We fell in love with the Sonoran Desert immediately. There is so much to do in this city. It's far more picturesque than Phoenix with mountains visible in all directions, especially in Oro Valley, where the Santa Catalina's are right at your doorstep. If you love outdoor adventures, friendly people, and a wonderful climate, then you will fall for did!!!!
Robert Carey purchased this House in 2005
Why Robert Carey chose Canada Hills
This property has been a rental since 2005 and only recently converted into a fully furnished VRBO home. We have a number of rentals and take great pride in ownership and customer service. This is a gorgeous property with lots of recent upgrades in preparation for the VRBO debut (Nov 2017).
What makes this House unique
The greatest benefit is the home accommodations and the home location. It's located in the heart of Oro Valley in the well established and impeccably maintained family community of Canada Hills. There are two 18-hole golf courses that weave there way throughout the community. The home is located on a quiet cul-de-sac and has quick access to all the restaurants and shopping that Oro Valley offers.

Comfortable Home, Great Location! - and BIKES!
This is a very comfortable and nicely decorated home in a beautiful, quiet and safe neighborhood. Kitchen is well equipped. We cooked most of our meals there and had everything we needed. Furnishings, beds, linens, towels, all of high quality. TV and sound system were excellent! Private patio out back was great, despite the fact that there was a road construction project going on behind the house while we were there.
We especially loved this location because of the proximity to bike trails - not only the Loop system, but also the many shared-use trails in extremely scenic Oro Valley that provide many safe off-street options! Best of all: Rob, the owner, provided brand new Trek bikes, so we didn't have to transport ours across the country. What a blessing this was! We thoroughly enjoyed many, many hours of biking in the area - definitely the highlight of this year's winter getaway! We also enjoyed good golf courses nearby, and many great hiking trails all over the general Tucson area as well.
Rob was very accommodating, helpful and responsive to all of our needs. We enjoyed getting to know him and will definitely be staying in touch with the hope of renting again! Thanks again for everything, Rob!
Clean, well appointed, homey.
For us, it was like coming home. We really enjoyed your home. We look forward to renting from you again. Thank you
Excellent home, Ideal location
This home is very clean, comfortable and convenient to everything we needed. It is personalized with very nice furnishings and art work. The kitchen is well stocked and we loved the outdoor courtyard and grill. The home is located in a very quiet neighborhood. The owner (Rob) is very pleasant and helpful.
We have vacationed in the Tucson area for many years. This home, this location and this owner has set a very high benchmark for us when looking at future accommodations. Rob, here's hoping our scheduling works out for future visits.

The home was lovely, the owner Rob made arrangements to come and introduce himself and to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The view was amazing.
The back yard was large, beautiful and comfortable, plenty of sun and shade.
We will return again next year, for another stay . Thank you Rob

Tucson offers many attractions. We are avid outdoor adventurers. Weather is always very accommodating even in the summer you will find folks outdoors during the early morning hours and late evening hours. The sunrises and sunsets are breathtaking. Some of the more enjoyable attractions include the Biosphere, Desert Museum, Pima Air & Space Museum, Reid Park Zoo, Saguaro National Park, etc. For bicyclists, walkers, runners, roller bladders and the like Tucson has The Loop, which is a continuous connection of paved trails that cover over 100 miles along the various washes throughout the Tucson, Marana, and Oro Valley. We also offer many cultural activities like the Tucson Symphony Orchestra, Arizona Theater Company, and a vaudeville-like atmosphere of the Gas Light Theater. There are many parks and lots of golf courses.
