About Lisa Scott
I have been renovating unique properties in Visalia for short and long term rentals, for several years and I have been on VRBO for the same amount of time. I will enjoy working with you to get all of the details worked out with your apartment.
Lisa Scott purchased this Apartment in 2017
Why Lisa Scott chose Visalia
Location, Location, Location! This location allows you to walk to the shops, restaurants, downtown night life, and likely to work. This is a great benefit as parking is challenging. Most of what you might need or want is walking distance from the apartment. There is some public transportation available but it is not comprehensive. Car or Uber will likely be desired from time to time. The property is perfect for those working or receiving care at the Medical Center, which is less than 1 mile away. The Visalia Convention Center and Rawhide Stadium are also about 1 mile away.
What makes this Apartment unique
This is an urban property in a mixed neighborhood. The block the apartments are on is pleasant- small, but well-kept houses across the street from the apartments and mature trees lining the street. There is the potential for street noise such as music or ambulance sirens, although there is not much traffic on the street overall.
100% refund if cancelled at least 60 days before arrival date. 50% refund if cancelled at least 30 days before arrival date.
Midtown Visalia Stay
We needed a place to stay while we relocated from San Diego to Visalia waiting for our new home to close escrow. Lisa was very accomodating to our needs. We had to extend our stay about 2 weeks since escrow took a little longer that anticipated. The 2-bedroom apartment was neat, clean and have everything you needed to cook. The grounds and parking were fine and the neighborhood was quiet. Mostly young hospital workers from out of state working at Kaweah Delta. Close to downtown Visalia with good resturants. I would not hesitiate on recommending the apartment to anyone needing a short term rental. Lisa took care of everything and we truely appreciated it.
Excellent home, clean and welcoming with all comforts.
The area is safe and the city center is located

Great experience in a fantastic apartment!
This is a great vacation or work rental property! Lisa, the owner, went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. She was very nice and always replied super quickly to any inquiries. The apartment is furnished nicely and with all necessary amenities, and we greatly enjoyed our 6-week stay. If we ever return to Visalia, I would stay here again in a heartbeat!
Thank you Kerstin. Best wishes to you and your family!
Great apartment for a longer stay in the Visalia area.
Apartment was clean and spacious and Lisa really tried to make you feel at home and answered any questions we had. Would definitely recommend!
Loud neighbors, stray cats that sat at the door, leaking roof when it rained
Terrible- I was freezing due to lock box on temperature control and had to fight of stray cats to into the apartment. Neighbors were so loud on weekends that I could not rest.
I am very disappointed that Dr. Nichole was dissatisfied with the apartment.
The roofers were installing a completely new roof while Dr. Nichole was staying with us, so the minor roof leak was addressed as soon as Dr. Nichole allowed us access to the apartment. The completed new roof eliminates the possibility of any leaks in the future.

Although, Dr. Nichole''s neighbors limited their noise to weekends prior to 11 pm, this still was very disturbing to her.
I gave Dr. Nichole the code to the thermostat box when she asked for it.
Apparently, Dr. Nichole's placement agency believed this location would be advantageous for her, and welcomed by her, without understanding her expectations for her temporary home.
I truly regret that this was not a great experience for her.
The great thing about the location is that it is a few blocks from the Medical Center, the Convention Center, and downtown Visalia which is where all of the nice shops, restaurants, and bars are located. You will also have quick, easy access to the freeway.
Grocery store, meat market, liquor store, convenience store also within walking distance.
