Large family-friendly house

  • 5 of 5

We had a very pleasant stay after a long journey by car from Germany. I highly recommend a car to explore the area around Kenmare, beautiful Iveragh, Beara and Dingle, which we liked best.

The house is very spacious and clean with everything a family needs. Franceas, the owner, is very friendly and gave us a warm welcome. Our two young boys had plenty of space to play and to run around in the large enclosed garden. The town of Kenmare is within walking distance and all the shops and a filling station are really close. Hikers may want to walk the Kerry Way, which is not too far from the property. All in all a highly recommendable place, especially for families.

Perfect home for Kenmare stay

  • 5 of 5

This home was great. It has 4 bedrooms and each has it's own bathroom. There is also a half bath downstairs. Franceas met us and explained the heat, hot water, and TV and we were good to go. From here we had easy drives to Kilarney, Dingle Peninsula, and the Ring of Kerry. We sampled several of the pubs in Kenmare which were all awesome. Lovely area and perfect place for our home base in our journey. Franceas was easy to get in touch with and very responsive to our questions. Would love to return here someday!

Very high standard and spacious home

  • 5 of 5

The property was perfect and the standard was much higher than we expected . Two of the bedrooms were very big and the other 2 were standard size . The furniture was high quality and we had everything we needed . The property was very clean and very spacious and there were some supplies provided to ensure we got settled in before we needed to go to the shops . The location was maybe 5-10 mins walk from the centre of town which was perfect . I would definitely recommend it and would stay there again .

This is a very comfortable and well equipped house within 5 minutes walk of Kenmare town. The house is spacious, warm, modern, clean, bright and tastefully furnished. It's a great base from which to tour the surrounding countryside and Kenmare town itself is a gem. Franceas, the owner was very efficient and helpful. Would highly recommend this property!
