About Candice Bower
I have been a Virginia resident since 1993 and a Loudoun County homeowner since 1996. I was born and raised in Portland, Maine and have lived in the Boston, Massachusetts, prior to my move to Virginia. Chamblin Mill is the second historical home I have owned and love the history of the property and the surrounding area. There are over 30 wineries within the area as well as historical towns and the Salamander Resort and Spa is only 10 minutes away. So much to do and see in Loudoun County. I hope you will enjoy the beauty and privacy of this special home,
Candice Bower purchased this Guest House in 2003

It felt like home
We enjoyed our stay! The property and guest house felt like home. The location is also conveniently situated near outstanding hiking spots and other activities.
My husband and I with our dog stayed for a long weekend over Thanksgiving. Candice was very accommodating and very easy to communicate with. Beautiful country side!
Thank you Kris. It was a pleasure having you, your husband and dog at Chamblin Mill!
Quiet stay just outside DC
We were moving into the area from Texas and this property served as a convenient staging post for us as we waited for furniture to arrive. Just 20 minutes outside Purcellville and so handy for restaurants and shops. Well furnished and a pool table to boot. Candace lives just steps away but was very respectful of our privacy. The balcony was well furnished and looked a great place to spend an evening with a glass of wine, we just never had the chance.
Beautiful property with access to so much in the area!
This beautiful property is situated around so much lovely countryside and lots of things to do. We spent much of our time on the amazing porch looking out over the property. Everything you could need is there for you. We especially loved the house cat, Gabe, who greeted us and made us feel right at home. There were four of us and it was just the right size. I’d stay here again. The host is great as well.
This was a comfortable and easy stay;Lovely property, super clean, private; owner responds quickly
Comfortable and easy stay! Everything we needed was available. Gabe was a fun guest. We have never seen a cat so affectionate and interested in people❤️
