Well-appointed 4BR home w/large windows facing lake, huge kitchen w/room for 'too many' cooks. Two Pungo 14-ft and two 10.4-ft kayaks with special vests and paddles for complimentary guest use.

Here is the ideal getaway for rest and relaxation with something for everyone. This 2900 square foot, two-story house has four bedrooms, and a large well-equipped kitchen. Located on a protected cove a short distance from open water, you can enjoy views of the lake from the floor-to-ceiling windows on the second-floor and the second-level deck that wraps around the house. House is 20' from lake and boat dock. There are numerous public boat ramps and quiet parks just around the corner.

You can enjoy a game of foosball downstairs on the Shelti Pro III or win at poker on the game table also downstairs with super comfy chairs. There are numerous games for both children and adults. There are two corn hole games in the garage and plenty of room to play. With one 65" Roku TCL and a Samsung 46' TVs one 20" w dvr & Wii, board games, a library of 70 DVDs, Google wireless Internet, and foosball, there is truly something for everyone. We have a portable speaker that will connect by Bluetooth so you can take your music with you.

From the lake house, you can boat east to the Wirtz Dam, south to Horseshoe Bay, or north to Kingsland then go west and explore the Llano River. Lake LBJ has numerous coves to explore.

Splash Rentals of Kingsland delivers AND picks up assorted watercraft. Just Yakin will bring/take additional kayaks. We have 2 x 14 ft and 2 x 10.4 ft kayaks with vests and paddles.

Marble Falls is ten minutes away, with shopping, movies, restaurants, HEB (grocery), and Wal-Mart.

Great getaway!!!

Home had more than enough room for our family, easy access to our boat that we were able to launch right around the corner. Linda had things labeled for ease of using appliances, etc. We all had a wonderful time, will come again!!! Loved it!!!

Family Vacation

Linda was great to communicate and help with any questions. I broke my collarbone, had surgery, and needed a recliner for sleeping and she accommodated me. The kids enjoyed the kayaks a bunch (this was their first time on kayak's). We rented a boat for a day of tubing. Plenty of dishes and pots and pans to cook with for our large group. Did our smores on the grill and grilled hamburgers out. Too hot at this time for a fire. We enjoyed the downstairs game table and played games there nightly. Nice neighborhood to go walking in and took advantage of that. The neighbors invited us over for ping pong too. We had a great stay! We enjoyed our stay.

We live an hour away between Jonestown and Cedar Park across from Lake Travis. I lived in the area as a child, but my spouse is a transplant from the beautiful Lake Michigan area. I guess you'd call us lake people. We have seven grandchildren, now none are local. They're in Florida and others are in Raleigh, NC. We also have two Shih Tzu dogs that love the lake area as much as we do.

Why they chose this property

We previously had a smaller rental on Lake Travis, but sold it because water levels fluctuated so much. Lake LBJ is referred to a constant-level lake, so boating is never hampered by low water. The area is a quiet, congenial, slow-paced kind of place where folks wave as they drive by even if they don't know you.

What makes this property unique

There is a lot of wildlife wandering around - prized plants are a favorite of the local deer population. The city does not allow us to feed the deer. We had a very small fawn take up residence in the shady plants of our tree round in front of the house. We named this place for the two and later seven peacocks who liked to wander our property. Unfortunately, all peacocks had to be removed. Butterflies, song birds, and millions of stars on quiet nights all add up to a wonderful place to rest and relax. There are 19 parks in this city of 5,000 - one around every corner.

You really need bring only your food and drink. We have everything else; a fridge full of condiments; a full spice rack, cooking oil (no cooking fish inside); coffee, a variety of teas, sugar, honey, and a fresh quart of half n half in the fridge for your use. We also provide shampoo and body wash and all paper products; paper plates, napkins, paper towels and toilet paper. There's a huge stainless steel grill w all the tools plus a grill mat and extra propane tank.
