Having a large extended family, we have traveled around the world, staying in vacation rentals. We are thrilled to bring the benefit of our experience as property managers and our experience as consumers of vacation rentals to you. We understand property management, and more importantly we know whats important to our guests when it comes to expectations for a vacation rental.
We have seen and stayed in incredible vacation rentals, and have stayed in some that need improvement. We have incorporated ideas from the best rentals we have stayed in as we purchased, remodeled and furnished the Chalet Penthouse. We also know what not to do. Why they chose this property
In selecting our condo purchase in Angel Fire, we stuck to strict criteria - we wanted a premium location and superior floor plan. After viewing dozens of condos in Angel Fire, we believe the Chalet Penthouse superbly met both criteria.
Our location is one of the best on the mountain - located less than 400 feet to the Chile Express lift, and across the street from the Angel Fire Resort. No need to drive or use a shuttle, the lift is a quick walk away. If your little one forgot her hat; you don't need to wait for the next shuttle or lose your parking space.
The floor plan is superior to most other condos in Angel Fire - offering two master bedrooms, each with king sized beds and en-suite bathrooms allows comfort for everyone. Unlike others who advertise three bedrooms who really have two bedrooms plus a loft, the Chalet Penthouse has three true bedrooms ensuring privacy for everyone in your group.
The living room, dining room, kitchen, and both master bedrooms all have vaulted ceilings and plenty of natural light.

What makes this property unique
After we identified the best property on the mountain having a premium location and superior floor-plan, we wanted to take the Chalet Penthouse to the next level by completely remodeling this property from head to toe. While others say they have been renovated, it has been our experience this typically means they've replaced the flooring or repainted. What we have found was that meant outdated fixtures, antique appliances, dark and dingy furnishings, and 20+ year old tile in the shower.
By contrast, we left no detail untouched. We retextured the walls, repainted, replaced flooring, cabinets and appliances. The bathroom showers have new tile and shower pans/bathtub. We've replaced the hall closet with a mud-room space that has been outfitted with a bench for putting on your boots, hooks for coats, a shelf for hat and glove storage, and a custom-built boot storage to keep all of your gear in a neatly organized space.
Once we completed the remodel, we didn't stop there, we also wanted to think of the little details to make your stay more enjoyable. These include wire baskets for hat/glove storage, baskets in bathrooms for toiletry storage, plenty of hooks to hang towels, games and toys for the kids, a variety of children's books, 3 4K HD TVs, Netflix streaming, a massage pillow and neck massager for your sore muscles, plenty of serving dishes for your meals, and even a concierge center that provides necessities you may have forgotten.
We've put heated mattress pads on each bed (except twin) so you stay warm and toasty. We've provided high-quality bed linens, extra blankets and duvets. We launder our duvet covers after every guest simply because we know that matters to you.
Our kitchen provides everything you need from multiple coffee brewing options, to high-quality appliances, a toaster, a blender and crock-pot.
We believe it's all about the details, and we tried to think of everything. We hope you'll agree and stay at the Chalet Penthouse
