Okay, but not as expected
Pros:
-This property is located near the downtown area.
-The property is clean and secure (alarm system)
-Wireless internet available
Cons:
-Property listing was not 100% accurate (see details), listing was made to feel that it would only be myself and the property manager
-Limited kitchen access
-Poor communication from the property manager throughout, I was not made aware when new guests were coming/going
-Bedroom is located on 2nd floor and was not made aware
Details: The property manager as of this post (09/11/2020) is doing construction behind the house, and as a result I hadn't been able to use the behind the house parking as was noted in the listing. I was not made aware of the construction prior to booking my 3 month stay. As a result, I had to park on the street which at 5am did not always feel safe. Furthermore, the general construction noise interfeared at times with my online conference calls.
This property is 3 bedrooms which are all rented out and, all on the 2nd floor. This is a co-ed rental and this room may share a bathroom with the opposite/same gender.
When all 3 bedrooms are rented, the property manager (who lives on property) occupies the living room overnight. As a result, there is limited kitchen/laundry/living room access while she is sleeping. She locks the door accessing these areas. Because of this, I would prepare my meals and store the leftovers in the upstairs kitchenette area as to ensure I had access to my food before leaving for work.
Overall the physical property was clean and fine enough to stay in, however the lack of communication was very frustrating and made the stay feel unwelcome.
