Very impressive!

  • 5 of 5

We loved this house. It was situated just two minutes from a beach where we went swimming and snorkeling almost everyday. The house itself, was attractively furnished and fully equipped with everything we needed. The top bedroom had bay and ocean view from three sides and a balconey as well. There was a deck all around and a wonderful lanai where we ate our meals. The yard has beautiful blooming flowers 🌺. This is truly a wonderful place to spend a vacation! Thank you, Elizabeth and Steve!

Wonderful place by Kealakekua Bay!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and friends really enjoyed our time at Manini Point House. We arrived needing some deep relaxation but also some fun adventure - and we found both at the house and in the bay just steps away. Each morning, we were awake for the sunrise coming over the mountain, lighting up the bay. Often, we were in the water, swimming by 7:30am. -- sometimes with dolphins! Days were spent out exploring the bay by SUP, snorkeling at Manini and 2-Step nearby (turtles and so many tropical fish), taking leisurely walks through the neighborhood, or (only rarely) getting in our car to visit town or another area of the island. Evenings we visited with our friends at the house, watching gorgeous sunsets over the water, preparing delicious, fresh meals in a large, very well-appointed kitchen, and enjoying a leisurely meal together on the lanai.

Situated in a little neighborhood that's home to both residents and visitors, the house offers a comfortable home base. The house and back yard are clean and well care for. Rooms are spacious with bright light, beautiful art, hardwoods and marble throughout. The owners, Steve and Elizabeth, who live on a farm nearby, are highly responsive and very kind.

Exquisite house at great location

  • 5 of 5

Manina House is exquisitely built, with gorgeous hardwood floors, lovely design, tasteful furniture and light filled rooms and porches. The layout and amenities are great. We especially enjoyed the well stacked kitchen and ping pong table. The house is located in a small community off the main road. The vegetation in the neighborhood is lush and the bay is just a minute away. We enjoyed snorkeling and appreciated that you can rent kayaks right in the neighborhood. Several minutes drive down the road is two-step beach with the best snorkels I have seen in Hawaii. We were lucky enough to not only see a great array of tropical fish but one day found ourselves surrounded by a pod of a two dozen dolphins. What more can you ask for!!!!

Local gem in small community away from normal tourist hubbub

  • 5 of 5

Spent a week at the Manini Point House with our two children. House is perfectly located to explore both sides of the island. We walked 50feet to the snorkeling area, and couldn't find another location better on the island. This home gives the occupants the feel of a local. Enjoyed a personal tour of the host's coffee and fruit plantation. If you like to feel like a local and want to explore the island, but have a home away from home this is a true gem.
