Welcome to Casa Juanita named after my grandmother. Newly renovated from the 1930s with original wood floors and is amazing. Our home is in the best location in Tucson. It's on a well lit street, among other cool old homes. Inside is comfortable and well-furnished. AND it's full of all kinds of interesting artwork. I love that it has a private backyard and secure Parking. And, rare for Tucson, you can walk to a yoga studio and the fantastic Rocks and Ropes climbing gym, as well as all the usual amenities like cafes and restaurants. Two mountain bikes are provided for those of you wanting to ride. Our back yard patio with two grills and a fire pit for those chili nights.

Backyard Paradise

This place is special.

Casa Juanita is clean and quaint. The many artifacts added to the experience of being in this historic family home. We appreciated the ease of check-in. Our host was quick to respond to messages. Snacks and beverages were available upon arrival. The bathroom and kitchen were stocked with the essentials. Thank you to the host for providing this space. We'll definitely stay at Casa Juanita again!

3rd stay

This was our third stay at Casa Juanita and as always it was great. The patio is a high point, along with the location and neighborhood. It is an easy walk into town. And easy access to visit national parks and state parks. A very unique home and the only place we stay in Tucson.

Beautiful Outdoor Space

It was a nice place for the price. It smelled very clean when we entered. Of course, we spent much of our time on the outdoor patio because it had a lot of shady seating and the weather was beautiful. The remodeled bathroom was lovely, but a little awkward when we had a couple visitors because they had to walk through the bedroom to get to the bathroom. Also, the matress was uncomfortable for me (too hard) and sunk a bit in the middle. And my husband had to fix the creaky noise from the bathroom door so we weren't waking each other up all night. Hopefully its better now for future guests. The kitchen could definitely use an update. There is very little countertop space, the faucet dripped, and the pots, pans, dishes, and utensils were a bit old and lacking. We also missed having facial tissues, napkins, bandaids, and plastic baggies. Maybe they were there somewhere? It was nice to have the bikes, though. It was also strange when the Mosquito Squad" showed up unannounced in the back yard one morning. A heads-up would have been nice if the owner was aware of it. I wouldn't let any of these things deter you, though. We were happy with it, overall.

Home to several generations of the Zepeda family. A great place growing up. Walking distance to downtown area. Hiking close by, lots of great restaurants. Peaceful and safe neighborhood.

Self check in using the last four numbers of your cell phone on file. Or a Meet and Greet with Grandpa Paul Sr (original owner) for a historical tour. Starts promptly at 1400 hours. 2 pm day of check in.
Then Waking distance to trolly and downtown. Historic Armory Park Neighborhood.
