Enjoy this direct ocean front home with unobstructed ocean and salt marsh views from every room on 'Peggotty Beach', a soft sandy barrier beach. Experience morning ocean sunrises and evening ocean moonrises, beach walks, clambakes, kayaking, swimming, paddle boarding, surfing and bicycling or just enjoy the sounds of the ocean. The open floor plan and wrap around deck is perfect for entertaining family and friends. The house comfortably accommodates up to 14 people with thoughtful amenities included. Perfect for summer vacations, anniversaries, family re-unions and special occasions.

Family vacation

Wonderful week on Peggotty Beach! The house was perfect for our group - 5 adults and 5 kids ages 3-11. This house is right on a sandy beach and has everything you will need for a week on the water! It came with all the beach gear you need for hours of entertainment. And it also has a very well stocked kitchen that we made good use of! This house is perfectly situated for watching sunsets and sunrises and there was a lot of outdoor seating areas on the porch. The beach is next to a public beach but few people made it down to our area so it felt quite private. The location to town is great and we appreciated the bikes to get around. All said this was an excellent family vacation house for all ages! Communication with the host was excellent as well and the house felt cool and comfortable all week. Thank you for sharing your home!

Best kept secret

This gorgeous house lives up to the listing. Perfect for a family gathering. The view is spectacular, the house is spacious and clean, and the location is uncrowded. We loved walking into town for morning coffee and shopping. We cooked up feasts on most nights---the kitchen has all the amenities for a master chef! There are 4 sitting areas on the porch each with a fire table so you never felt crowded even with 11 people in the house. The many windows made for gorgeous views from anywhere in the house. The only con to that is not all windows have coverings so bring a sleep mask for sure if you aren't an early riser. I would definitely rent this house again. To heck with the crowded Cape and it's trafficky bridge when you can have this oasis in Scituate!

Perfect place!

Everything was great. Hosts were awesome (greeted us at checkin to give us tour, very responsive throughout). Bikes/kayaks, etc were great. Location in Scituate is great (short bike ride or walk to Scituate Harbor). Could not have asked for anything more.

Great place to stay. House was outstanding!

Super easy dealing with renters. Great welcome and tour of facility. Will definitely consider for next year. House was pristine, and Scituate is a gem being so close to Boston.
