About this property

Our cottage is in a great location, beautiful setting under the Flatirons on the University Hill. New to VRBO, but are superhosts with other vacation rental sites. Our private cottage with lots of natural light is a great location for everything in Boulder. Just a couple blocks away from Chautauqua Park where there are some of the most amazing hiking trails and picturesque views in the state. CU campus is right around the corner if you are here for a visit. Our quiet Craftsman style cottage is a great place for your visit to Boulder. City of Boulder Rental License# RHL2016-01174.

It is a adorable space with lots of natural light, the main entry room has vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors, there is a separate kitchen, bathroom and the double bed has its own nook off the main room. The cottage has everything you will need: - Full kitchen (fridge, microwave, oven with stove top, toaster, coffee maker, tea kettle and dishes/utensils) - WiFi - 40" TV with Roku for streaming - Comfortable double bed with quality pillows and bed linens - Bathroom with shower, quality towels and the basic toiletries.

There is a private patio outside the kitchen door of the cottage which is for the exclusive use of the guests.

Perfect stay in Boulder

The cottage was perfect for my week in Boulder. Close to campus and Pearl Street, Boulder creek access, all walkable. Tucked into a beautiful quiet neighborhood with close access to the mountain hiking trails as well. Full kitchen, perfect for a single or couple looking for a little getaway in Boulder. Jean and Jim were lovely hosts, plenty of privacy but also, Jim helped me get to the bus to the Denver airport the day I left. A short walk to and from the bus. Great people, with two sweet little black cats that were so friendly. Definitely recommend!

Cozy and clean cottage. Easy walk to everything.

This cottage is a hidden jewel in one of Boulder's most attractive neighborhoods. Perfect for a couple and easy walk to University Hill for dinner or to Chautauqua for a hike. The neighborhood is very quiet and offers easy access to the university. If there's anything that you would need, Jim and Jean are on it! Highly recommended for the perfect in town Boulder get-away!

We both attended the University of Colorado years back and I think we both realized what a special place Boulder was and decided to stay. It has been over 30 years that we have been here, and we raised our family in this wonderful town. We have had the opportunity to live in south Boulder, north Boulder and now luckily to settle here in the best area of the city. We enjoy hiking, biking and being outdoors and feel fortunate as Boulder has got to be one of the best places in the country for these activities. We would be happy to suggest different things to do here in Boulder during your stay.

Why they chose this property

Location, location, location. We have had a chance to live in many parts of Boulder, but the University Hill/Chautuaqua Park area is got to be one of the best. It is just a great old neighborhood. So, close to the mountains for hiking, within walking distance to CU and downtown. In our opinion it just a great spot to be if you are visiting Boulder.

What makes this property unique

The main house was built in 1904 and the cottage in 1923. Just love all the old quirky things that you notice with these old houses. The cottage is just super cute!
