Rim Cabin in the mountains

Only thing we had issues with was that there wasn’t a railing on the back deck.

We had a group of 11 people and this was just the perfect size. The way the floor plan is designed allots for everyone to have their own special space. In one very large bedroom,on the ground floor, is a king-sized bed with an adjoining bathroom (walk-in shower) and separated by a curtain is a full size bed. Both of these beds were very comfortable. Just outside the door to this bedroom is another bathroom (tub/shower combination), which is close to the main living room. There is a nice sized TV with a DVD player, two armchairs, a wrap-a-round sofa (which is actually long enough for an adult to sleep on one section and a child on the other). The kitchen is stocked well with utensils, pots, pans, dishes, glasses. A Keurig machine is on the counter and good-sized microwave above the stove. In the pantry cupboard, there is a blender, drip coffee maker, and crock pot. Just off the kitchen is a den with a sleeper sofa that pulls out into a queen. Upstairs are two more bedrooms and each has a queen-sized bed. There is an upstairs bathroom as well. The owner has some board games on site, such as Uno, Rumicub, etc., although I had already packed our own to bring along. For those who enjoy playing horseshoes, there is a pit outside and horseshoes are also present. We got to bring our dog and there was a fenced backyard for him to enjoy. We never got a chance to use the grill on the front patio (pictured), but there is plenty of seating. The house is located on a cul-de-sac and has other houses next door, but neighbors were seldom seen. The owner is great with communication and I was very impressed that he contacted us the day before our stay began just to answer any questions I might have. This is a rustic type of home, so if you are looking for "classy" accommodations, you may choose to look elsewhere. It was just what my family wanted...we loved the stay! This house was a wonderful stay for my family and I. Had everything we needed. Super cute and very comfy. Highly recommend, we will be staying again in the future.

We spent my daughter's 38 birthday there had a wonderful time we really enjoyed the house John was very accommodating and responded very quickly to any questions we had some folks have commented the house needed a little TLC that maybe so but that's what made it a home for us we enjoyed it very much Scott and Susan Travis and Nikki Alexis and our little pup Holly

We had a really pleasant stay at this cabin. So quiet and peaceful. My family are members of NHRA drag racing team here in AZ. So it was good to get away and enjoy the mountains during the off season, for my oldest son and husband. We went to several lakes. Visited the Hon Dah casino and had lunch there, very good. Thursday we went thrift store shopping and had a blast. We cooked most meals at the cabin and everything you could want to prep food was there! We brought our two dogs and my elderly parents brought their companion dog, perfect yard for dogs to be in. King sized master suite on ground floor has private deck and an additional full sized bed in suite. Upstairs there are two more bedrooms and a bathroom. The den is a perfect spot for kids and young adults to play video games, cards and board games.
