Also within walking distance you have the Royal Albert Hall and the Royal Parks (Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park). South Kensington is a superb place to eat with restaurants from almost every part of the world - Lebanon, India, France, Italy, Thailand, America to name a few, all within 5 minutes of the apartment.
This apartment is also excellently located for transport links. The flat is between South Kensington and Gloucester Road Tube /Metro stations. A 10 minute taxi ride takes you to Victoria Station which provides a fast train to Gatwick Airport. Likewise Paddington station is about the same distance, which links to Heathrow Airport in 15 minutes. Although, we are not in London, we love the character and location of this apartment so much that we decided we didn't want to sell it, but keep it for the kids.
