Beautiful Cabin & Location. Perfect Instructions
The photos of this cabin don’t begin to show the beauty and peacefulness of this cabin. While the Blue Ridge area has so much to see and do, be prepared to want to never leave the property. The large covered deck has rocking chairs and a swing. Sitting there rocking while looking over the stream and into the woods felt like being a part of a fairytale or like a scene from The Secret Garden. Inside the cabin is just as wonderful. The living room area has a full wall of floor to ceiling windows and the furniture is comfortable and cozy. The bedroom is adorable with antiques that are a perfect style for a mountain cabin. The bed is very comfortable. The cabin was spotless. You couldn’t tell that someone was there right before us.
The bathroom isn’t huge but not so small that you feel cramped The kitchen has everything you will need.
I would like to address some of the issues in the very few less than 5 star reviews. Two issues they mentioned were the “difficult driveway” and a “very hard to open lockbox”. I will admit that the driveway would be quite the challenge for some who didn’t bother to read the instructions. We followed Julie’s very detailed and thorough instructions about both the driveway and the lockbox and had no problems what so ever. Julie’s directions to the cabin were also detailed and thorough.
Julie was quick to respond & very gracious about an issue that was 100% our fault.
We will return many times to this wonderful , peaceful cabin.
