5 bedrooms, 10 sleeping places, 4 bathrooms, Provencal farmhouse of 250 m2, on a wooded terrain of 3,000 m2. Located on the hills of the Plateau de la Crau, in front of the Alpilles, close to the city centre. In a calm and natural environment. South facing.

Description of Provencal farmhouse:

Ground level opens to the garden and swimming pool with view of the Alpilles.

Lounge, dining room, kitchen. The whole area 100 m2.

Parental suite with bathroom of around 15 m2, walk-in closet 10 m2, opening to a private terrace.

Large linen closet with every electric appliance.

2 terraces opening to the garden and swimming pool. 1 south facing, with iron arbour covered in vines, with forged iron table for 10.

2nd terrace facing east, with old Parefeuille, and a table for breakfasts, and a grill.

1st floor: 2 bedrooms and their bathroom, toilet. One children bedroom with 2 single beds. 1 large mezzanine. Parquet floors on every room.

In the studio: 1 bedroom with bathroom and independent toilet. Fully equipped summer kitchen opening to the swimming pool and garden.

Swimming pool with barbecue, pizza oven with stone facade. Bar equipped with sink and ice machine.

Rattan garden furniture and authentic decorative items.

Iron forged lounge around the swimming pool, with deckchairs.

15x5 swimming pool, salt electrolysis. Heated swimming pool.

Greenery: several olive trees, lavender fields, gardens with red fruits, herbs from Provence and vegetables, fruit trees.

Heating: under floor, refreshing floors.

Refined decorations, we kept the authentic style from Provence.

Vehicle for 9 (tourism permit) available. You have to pay the fuel.

About Cathy Nogarede

Cathy, 50 years and Jean Louis 58 years. We have 2 sons and 2 grandchildren (2 small girls).

We have lived in the region for a very long time, and we have this beautiful house for rent.

We fell in love with this wonderful region, and Saintes Maries de la Mer (where we will have an equestrian bed and breakfast opening Sept. 1st 2014).

Why Cathy Nogarede chose Saint-Rémy-de-Provence

We are about to finish another project, a Provencal farmhouse near Saintes Maries de la Mer, where we are going to have holiday cottages, equestrian bed and breakfast at Camargue. Open September 1st.

What makes this mas unique

View of Alpilles. Provencal farmhouse located at the end of a calm road, surrounded by nature, without being too isolated.

The farmhouse is located on the hills of Plateau de la Crau, in a residential neighbourhood. Hikes, sports, close to the city centre, typical village, walking streets, a large market on Wednesdays, several restaurants. Many small villages you can visit, Camargue, golf close by.

Our farmhouse is very pleasant; we tried to keep the charm and image of the real Provence. Heated swimming pool, very pleasant during mid season.

Vehicle for 9 (tourist permit) at your disposal.

The terrain is enclosed. Heated swimming pool Intercom with camera. A gardener comes 1 a week to care for the garden and pool. After 7 days, the cleaning is included, 4 hours per week, and final cleaning is optional. Vehicle at your disposal (you pay the fuel). We can contact you with a baby sitter. You can ask for cleaning personnel for more than 4 hours per week, but you have to pay the extra hours.

Beautiful and tranquil

We enjoyed a lovely stay here in February/March of 2017. The house is beautiful and practical, has all amenities one needs; there is a big garden with lots of areas to dine, rest or play, including a swimming pool. The house is well situated for excursions around Provence while still not in a touristy or busy area. Dealing with the owner was pleasant and hassle-free. We warmly recommend this property, and would be happy to come back some other time.

The Villa was even more fabulous in reality.

Wow, this villa will not disappoint. Myself, as an Interior Designer and my husband as an Architect from New Zealand, were so impressed at the beautiful design and attention to detail with fabulous taste.

A perfect position, so close to St Remy but a peaceful haven after a day of touring. The owner Cathy and her husband Lou Lou were so kind in every way possible from organising the baker to deliver daily delicacies, nespresso necessities and an amazing cook when we required, restaurant recommendations and so much more!

Cathy, thank you so much our adult family had a wonderful 2 weeks and would like to return soon!

Beautiful traditional French farmhouse - like something from a magazine.

Our family of 7 had a magical time at Mas Caloun. Spacious and meticulously decorated, we loved sending time in the pool and near the traditional kitchen. The 9 seater van made it so convenient to explore the area, although there is lots to see also in nearby St Remy. Would love to come back one day!

Wonderful stay in a fabulous home near St Remy

We stayed with 3 other couples, dear friends, for a week at this beautiful villa near St Remy. We loved having croissants delivered fresh every morning! The house, grounds, and pool are luxurious and clean. We highly recommend this rental, and would love to return some day!

Fabulous provence

We just came back from a great week in St Remy. We went with our kids, their spouses and our teenage grandsons. Adults and young ones all had a super time. The property s beautiful with all the amenities. Location is great and every morning we had the baker bring us croissants and the fantastic French baguettes. We took daily trips all over and later we would eat either at home-great barbecue area or at one of the multiple restaurants in St Remy. We would absolutely recommend this property to anyone who loves the fragrance and sunshine of Provence

Perfection in Provence!

Absolutely stunning property in the heart of Provence, just a few minutes drive from St. Rémy. This house has all the amenities one could think of -- outdoor grill, BBQ, pizza oven, fully equipped kitchen . . . The house is beautifully decorated and absolutely charming. The hosts, Cathy and Lou, are extremely hospitable and helpful. Only superlatives can be used to describe this home and our overall stay here. We cannot wait to come back!
