About Linda Amero, Owner
We love meeting all the wonderful folks who come from far and near to enjoy our beautiful surroundings. Hank and I grew up on Cape Ann and have lived in Gloucester for 30+ years... we wouldn't have it any other way! (Linda is a jazz musician and artist, and Hank is a woodworker/avid boater.)

Why Linda Amero, Owner chose Gloucester
"Sunset Serenade" offers the best location ever - situated between Good Harbor & Niles beaches, 5 min.by car to downtown shopping/restaurants, and 5 min. to Rocky Neck Art Colony galleries with it's fabulous, funky restaurants on the harbor.
What makes this Apartment unique
The prettiest stretch of coastline in all of Massachusetts, Cape Ann offers you big-city culture mixed with small-town charm and exciting recreational activities. Whether you’re looking for a romantic getaway or a family vacation, you’ll find it here. Who wouldn’t want to come here? Cape Ann is one of the last great unspoiled places. Founded by Pilgrims in 1623, named for England’s Queen Anne, the cape sprouted villages along its coast, leaving its whole center a wild wood. Every curve of its rugged coastline shows off a new scenic beauty: harbors, lighthouses, islands, miles of sandy beaches, quarries, inlets and coves, all so picturesque that movie-makers film here constantly. Yet we’re only 30 miles from Boston’s Logan Airport.

Great weekend away
My husband and I had a wonderful time at our stay in Gloucester. We especially loved waking up to views of the harbor and watching ships come in and out throughout the day. Wonderful experience and would recommend this stay to others looking for a relaxing place for some r&r.
Very nice couple, left the pace spotless. Highly recommend these folks as guests.
This place is a gem!
We cannot say enough about this property! My boyfriend and I wanted to spend a few days away for my birthday. Linda's property was just what we were looking for! It was in a great location off a side-street with a nice view of the harbor. There is a great breakfast spot just down the street and plenty of other places within a short driving distance. Linda provides a list (with great candid comments!) of different restaurants and things to do in and around town. The property itself was extremely clean from top to bottom and it had everything that you could need for a home away from home location. We highly recommend staying here if you are in town and want a nice quaint and quiet location. You also can't beat sitting on the deck watching the boats and the beautiful sunset!
We are thrilled that you enjoyed our property and location! You wrote a wonderful description of your experience and we greatly appreciate that. You folks were a true pleasure to host and we hope you'll be back one day. Thanks again!
Too Short of A Stay
We took a last minute three night vacation in Gloucester and found Sunset Serenade by chance. It was one of the best last minute decisions I ever made. The “studio” was spotless, it was well equipped and the view was peaceful! I immediately felt at home😊
Linda is wonderful (would love to really get to know her), and directed us to a great restaurant (Lobsta Land). The downside to the trip was that it was only three nights. We will definitely make sure to get back there for a longer stay and have recommended it to family and friends!
We are thrilled that you loved the studio, view and your time in Gloucester! Please DO come back when you can stay longer and really savor the beauty and fresh seafood... 3 days just isn't enough sometimes. A real pleasure meeting you both.
We had the BEST time at Sunset Studio. First of all, everything was exactly as pictured or BETTER. The place is beautiful, the perfect size for a couple, the view of the harbor is outstanding, and you're so close to everything. Secondly, these are about two of the nicest, most helpful folks you'll ever meet. She let us have our privacy but was happy to chat when we did see her, addressed questions very quickly, and was so so sweet. BONUS: they have the cutest weenie dog that liked to come visit sometimes. We rented for two weeks and don't regret a second of it, trust me - you won't find better. If we ever make our way to Gloucester again, you can be guaranteed this is where we will stay! (PS - this was for our honeymoon and it was perfect, book this place!!!)
Dear Megan and Jodie,
Thank you for the best review ever!!! We are so pleased that you fully enjoyed the space - it is always our intention to see that our guests have the best possible experience. You were super guests and we sincerely hope you will be back one day, thank you for leaving the apt. spotless.
Best Wishes, Linda
Great property and great owner.
Wonderful couple, always a pleasure to host. Thank you for your repeat business!
Sunset Serenade a beauty!
Sunset Serenade was all we hoped. A fabulous retreat to unsubscribe. The space was immaculate and roomy with well equipped kitchen. Deck oveelooking harbor was refreshing. Sunsets to remember. Lobsta Land lobster roll incredible!
Hostess Linda is delightful and preserved privacy. She is helpful and very nice. She also has a larger stand-alone home called Summerwind for larger family next door. We toured it & it is gorgeous. You can’t go wrong with either retreat.
Thank you kindly, Linda, so pleased that you enjoyed our studio "plus"! We really enjoy meeting folks like you and it's always wonderful to hear good feedback. Hope to see you again.
Gloucester, settled in 1623, is America's oldest seaport. Situated at the center of Cape Ann, Gloucester has one of the finest harbors in Massachusetts and remains one of the busiest fishing ports on the Eastern seaboard. Visitors are drawn to Gloucester's rich history, natural beauty, incredible beaches, fresh seafood, and on-water activities, especially the popular whale watch excursions. Gloucester also hosts a sizable artist population, many of whom can be found on Rocky Neck, the oldest working art colony in America.
