This home is intended to be easy on your wallet and big on relaxing in this very comfortable older home, in a very simple beach style community. You can relax on the front patio, enjoy the quietness of this beach area. Beaching activities included nearby parks: Kitty Beach (dogs allowed), Pleasure Beach (town beach), Seaside State Park, Harkness State Park, Ocean Beach. Boating is always an option, if you're so lucky to have one to bring on this summer vacation. The boat launching area is 1/2 mile from the house. You will find this simple home to have all you need on this summer vacation. Miles away from casino and Mystic activities. Bring your bike and discover the shoreline area of town beaches and state parks. There is a very nice playground, nearby school (Great Neck Elementary School). Day travelers can enjoy: New London (Fort Trumbull, water taxi tours, Ocean Beach Park), Niantic (boardwalk), Mystic (Seaport, Aquarium, restaurants). Mohegan Sun Casino and Foxwoods are only a short drive from this house. Renters are allowed to trailer their boat, park it at the house and launch area is nearby. summer months.

At the beach

The property was very comfortable and clean. The beach was within walking distance. Buying a parking pass would have been prohibitive. The beach was small and not the most scenic . The nearby state park is beautiful.

Nice, comfortable home away from home

Great property, close to a lot of things. House was comfortable, larger than I expected, and was just what we needed. My only suggestion would be to add more silverware to the kitchen. Thanks for a great experience!

Wonderful stay at Kathy’s home!

This was the ideal place for our family getaway. Kathy was perfect host, with very prompt replies to all communication, clear directions for arrival, great information binder at the house, and was very kind to allow flexibility in extending our last day. The house was well equipped with everything we needed. We enjoyed the lovely back deck and the dog especially liked the spacious fenced in yard! Great quiet location with easy access to beautiful local beaches and we visited Mystic close by. Thank you again for a great stay!
