Location, location, location!!!!! This property is a winner! We are smack dab in the middle of it all! Don’t let the word mobile home dissuade you!! Completely and tastefully renovated in 2017/2018. It's very light and bright, such a happy place! The Trailer Treasure is situated in a quiet neighborhood in Bessemer Michigan, within view of majestic bluffs! Conveniently located next to snowmobile/atv trail # 2! Near the new Iron Belle walking/bike trail that offers snow shoeing/cross country skiing! Minutes from ski hills and Copper Peak, the host to the Red Bull 400!!! 16 miles from Bessemer. you'll find our favorite place to be, Lake Superior (the big lake) with all of its many breath taking waterfalls near by!!! Little Girls Point and Black River Harbor, on Lake Superior is where you'll find some sweet treasure. Maybe if you're lucky you will find your very own agates or yooperlite rocks! 40 minute drive from here is the Lake of the Clouds, located in the Porcupine Mountains!! Lots of great fishing and hunting spots too!!

Summers are fabulous here in the UP. Come and celebrate a week long 4th of July with us, The Bessemer Blast!!! A seven day event you won't want to miss! We have the best parade and fireworks that you'll ever see, that's a promise!!! Next door to us, on the 3rd of July, you'll be amazed at Wakefield's fireworks that are displayed over Sunday lake, it's spectacular! The fall colors are breath taking! All of this is why they call it Gods country! If you love the outdoors and all it has to offer this is the place to be!!!!!! You'll never be bored, unless you want some down time!

Protect your investments with a large two car garage for your sleds, trailers, atvs, utvs, bikes etc. Extra parking available if needed!

Three bedroom, one bath. One queen in the master bedroom, double bed in the second bedroom and twin over full in the third bedroom. Offers a large couch that could also sleep one!

Come stay with us in the spring, summer and fall, so much to see and so much to do!! Enjoy the patio area that includes a table and chairs, also a gas grill for your enjoyment! In the winter, the grill is in the garage for your use.

Perfect location to Snowriver and Fully Stocked!

Our stay was great! Perfect location, clean, and fully stocked - kitchen, bathroom and laundry supplies. The garage was an added perk, knowing I wouldn't be scrapping off snow in the morning. We needed to add an extra day to our stay and Brenda was quick to respond and very helpful.

This was our second time renting and the owner again checked in to see how everything was going and to make sure we didn't have any questions or need anything. My husband and daughter returned from a ski race weekend saying that they would definitely stay at this property again. Thank you for allowing us to stay!

Great home base

We really enjoyed our stay. The boys were able to bunk together and enjoyed the wifi in the evenings. Sitting the day there is so much to explore. This place has such cute decor that leaves no doubt you're in the UP. Will definitely start here again on another trip!

Brenda was great to work with through the process of ski races being added to the schedule, then being rescheduled and all the changes in our booking that resulted from it! The house was very clean, had plenty of space and the welcome basket was a nice touch that was very much appreciated! We are already booked for the next weekend of ski racing up north!

My name is Brenda, I grew up in Bessemer and graduated from Gogebic Community College as a licensed Cosmetologist. After working 33 years, my husband Randy retired from a paper mill in Shawano Wi. He often traveled to the Bessemer area with his buddies to snowmobile. We met in 1993 and were married in 2003. He traveled back and forth until he could retire in 2013.

We love the four seasons!!! The summers here are absolutely beautiful! We spend a lot of time at Lake Superior either camping or just combing the beaches for treasures. We hope that you enjoy the beauty of the area as much as we do!!

Why they chose this property

We purchased Trailer Treasure in 2016. My ex husband and I raised our three children in the mobile home until we outgrew it. We then built a log home just down the street, this is where Randy and I presently live. I also grew up in the green house next to the mobile home.

My husband Randy and I purchased this property for a rental, it also serves as extra place for friends and family when needed. It took a lot of persuading to get Randy on board with the purchase. I obviously had an emotional attachment to this home and he did not!! It was in horrible condition when we purchased this home in 2016 but I was determined to make it shine again. It took countless hours of cleaning, gallons of primer and a lot of paint! The windows were fairly new along with the hot water tank and furnace, that was a huge plus!!! Another factor in buying the property was that it had a large garage!! We didn't know what we were getting into at the time but we soon found out. The biggest concern was that the trailer was sinking into the ground because of improper plumbing. We changed the plumbing, updated the electrical and installed new flooring throughout!! In the end I feel like we sure did make it shine again! In the summer of 2019 we plan to replace the roof!

Update: We had a new metal roof installed along with a new paint job on the exterior and we also added a storm door. Next years tasks includes painting the garage, a new back door and hopefully a new bathtub/shower combination. Thanks to all of you who booked with us, to make all of this happen!! It was a fabulous first year, xoxo!!

We love the neighborhood and the peacefulness! I grew up in this location and I still live here, that says a lot!! The whole area is so beautiful! Lake Superior is minutes away, as are the ski hills! There is so many things to do here, hunting, fishing, hiking, walking, sightseeing, golfing, the list goes on!

What makes this property unique

The open concept makes it perfect for entertaining in the Trailer Treasure. We love that the trailer is located next to the snowmobile/atv trail. Skiing, walking, snowshoeing, cross country skiing or biking on the Iron Belle trail, it's all right here!! We are close enough to Lake Superior, the Lake of the Clouds, in the Porcupine Mountains. There is something for everyone for all of the four seasons! I can't imagine living any where else!!
