This beautiful house is in a protected, wooded area. The attached house dates from the beginning of the last century. It was recently completely renovated. The house's many authentic features have been carefully preserved. The holiday home has many attractive extras such as a covered BBQ area and a delightful conservatory. The De Vorte Bossen and De Gulke Putten Nature Reserves are in the immediate vicinity. So is the Bulskampveld Provincial Estate. This is an ideal area for long, beautiful walks and cycle trips. We stayed in the house with our three grown up daughters. It was a wonderful vacation. The house was lovely and very clean. The owner was very friendly. We loved the outdoor dining table.
We went on tours to Gent, Bruges and Bruxelles. We also went to the sea and the museum in Ypres. All in all we had a lovely time in Belgium.
Really enjoyed our stay. House was nice and clean. Children enjoyed playing in the garden. Would recommend for nature lovers or people looking for a peaceful break.
The house was much larger than the photos show and was very well equipped. There were lots of toys for our son to play with in the lovely garden and throughout the house. Magda was a very welcoming and thoughtful host.
The only small negative was the size and location of the bathroom but even so this was perfectly adequate for a weeks stay and would not stop me recommending this delightful house.
The house is situated in a very quiet area with direct access to cycle paths. We cycled to Brugge with our 6 year old son with no problems at all.
As a family group of 4 adults we found the cottage was ideally situated for all of the main sights in Belgium.
It was very peaceful and good restaurants were within a short drive or a cycle ride.
The house in St. Pietersveld meets all expectations you to a holiday accommodation stelltEin lovingly restored home, a gorgeous garden, a tasteful, rustic interior furnishings. In addition, the location is perfect on the edge of a forest and the cities of Bruges, Ghent and Antwerp are all between 20 and 60 minutes by car. There you can perfectly relax and start exploring the area. The home owner has thought of everything - from games (badminton, Domino) to cooking utensils, washing powder for the washing machine and charcoal for the grill was all ready! We were more than satisfied with the accommodation and can only highly recommend. So beautiful you live rare on vacation.
Great home just outside Strove, nice and quiet and a wonderful base for various mountain bike (bicycle) trails. Also beautiful places like Florence and Sienna nice dichtbij.Een highly recommended!
