About this property

Summit Castle: 3.5 Acres~Theater~Fire Pit~Game Rm~2x Appliances~Office~EV~Yard

Welcome to Summit Castle, a one-of-a-kind luxury log castle, which finished construction in February 2018. Set on a private 3.5 acre lot, Summit Castle is a stunning 6 bedroom, 6 1/2 bathroom mountain lodge with an impressive list of amenities. As you pull into the circle drive, park under the portico and walk through the double castle doors, you will be amazed at the magnificent views of the Smoky Mountains from this massive 3 story cabin! Each space in this rustic-style cabin has been beautifully designed, from the stone turret and log exterior, incredible open great room and dining area, and barn-style theater room. If you are looking for miles and miles of layered Smoky Mountain views, this is the perfect cabin.

This 4,570 sq. ft. Pigeon Forge cabin has enough room for multiple families and couples. The adults will be happy with the five king bed suites with attached full bathrooms. The kids and kids at heart will be ecstatic with their sleeping options, including a bunk room that sleeps 8, several daybeds (for kids that prefer to sleep in the same room as their parents) and futons. For the comfort of all guests, the Castle is recommended for no more than 14 adults and for no more than 20 guests total, including adults and teens/kids who can sleep on the bunk beds, daybeds and futons.

Located off of Wears Valley Road, you will find an entertainment paradise! This cabin offers a wide variety of amenities such as, a barn-style theater room with comfy reclining theater seats and a massive 82" HDTV, with premium cable and On Demand; Xbox One; Official Pop-A-Shot Dual Shot Basketball Arcade Game; pool table; air hockey; and multicade arcade system (containing tons of classics like Pac-Man, Galaga, Frogger, Donkey Kong, Space Invaders, Ms. Pac-Man, etc.).

Summit Castle features a beautiful fully-equipped kitchen with natural-wood cabinets and granite countertops. Feeding a large group is a breeze with 2 ovens, 2 built-in microwaves, 2 refrigerators, 2 dishwashers, 2 sinks, pots and pans, cooking utensils and ample counter space to prep. All guests will be able to dine together on the 2 large log tables, kitchen peninsula, and the covered outdoor dining table just outside the dining area.

Looking for a more laid back environment? This cabin also offers your very own large hot tub and a resort-style gas fire pit Rock your cares away in the cabin’s many rocking chairs. Each morning, you can awake to incredible mountain views that leave no doubt why they are called the Smoky Mountains.

In this 24/7 world, we can rarely getaway from our jobs. Summit Castle has its own mountain-view office, complete with a rustic wood desk and chairs, and fast Wifi.

Summit Castle has a dedicated housekeeping crew that cleans and maintains it to high standards (most cabin rentals are serviced by rotating crews who clean many cabins per day). Many previous guests have described the Castle as very clean. We have two full sets of luxurious sheets and towels for the Castle that are meticulously cleaned and switched out before each stay, so you are not dealing with linens that were previously used in a cabin that allowed smoking, pets or fraternity parties. We have added liquid hand soap to each sink to ensure that all guests can continue to keep themselves and others germ-free.

Also, if you decide to leave your mountain paradise, you are only minutes away from the attractions of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Enjoy attractions such as Dollywood, Dolly Parton's Stampede, or The Island in Pigeon Forge. Summit Castle is less than 15 miles and 30 minutes away from these locations and the most popular area attractions (driving time is approximate):
Pigeon Forge: 2 miles, 5 minutes
Smoky Mountain Alpine Coaster: 4 miles, 8 minutes
Parkway: 5 miles, 10 minutes
Kroger and Publix: 5 - 6 miles, 9 - 11 minutes
Island in Pigeon Forge (including Old Smoky TN Moonshine): 6 miles, 13 minutes
Titanic Museum & Hatfield & McCoy dinner show: 6 miles, 14 minutes

Comforts of home!
Traveling with 9 adults and 5 children (4-mos. to 10 yrs. old) we very much appreciated all the comforts of home with many more perks! Our grandchildren loved the game room and theater room. Our children (parents of our grandchildren) enjoyed not having to go out for meals, preferring to cook family meals together. The kitchen at the cabin provided us with everything we needed, such as plates, cups, silverware, drinking glasses, cooking tools, and pots & pans. We really appreciated the two ovens, two dishwashers, two microwaves, two refrigerators, two toasters, two coffeemakers, and a Keurig! So helpful! The views of the mountain were spectacular! The rocking chairs on the decks were used often. After a day of hiking in Smoky Mountain National Park, our children and grandchildren enjoyed the hot tub. We had fun at Dollywood (try the Cinnamon Bread), Lost Mine Mountain Roller Coaster & Miniature Golf, and Ripley's Aquarium. The cabin is a quick 10 minutes away from the grocery store. We stayed 6 nights and enjoyed our time in the mountains. Our children and grandchildren all wished for a few more days...sign of a wonderful vacation! One tip we have to share is to plan your meals ahead of time for a few nights and then stop at the grocery store (Kroger or Publix) on your way to the cabin, because you won't want to leave this lovely home! Thanks Mindy and Mike for sharing your mountain cabin with us! We had a memorable 40th Wedding Anniversary celebration!

Great Location
Mindy is very prompt when communicating with her. The cabin is less than 10 minutes from the main road in Pigeon Forge but is far enough that you don't know you're in Pigeon Forge. The neighborhood is quiet and the cabins are spaced out so you don't feel crowed. There is plenty of room inside for people to gather with out being on top of each other.

Family vacation
The summit castle was absolutely beautiful and perfect for our family vacation. We had one day of rain but it didn’t matter because of all the fun things to do right there at the cabin from the pool table on the top floor to the many games and amazing theater room on the bottom floor! My family and I had a blast! The owner, Mindy, was also very informational and quick to respond with any questions. She is also always so kind! It was also cleaned very well! Highly recommend staying at the Summit Castle!

We are Mindy and Mike from Kentucky. We have learned that through hard work and determination, anyone can accomplish anything, like owning this cabin! Having a son with severe special needs has really put our life in perspective, so we really value our family time in this cabin. We love opening our home to other families who enjoy the Smoky Mountains and spending time together as much as we do!

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with Summit Castle's lot the first time we saw it. Summit Castle is really unlike most cabins in the area with its breathtaking endless mountain views along with trees beside it that make it feel private. Whether relaxing in the many rocking chairs or enjoying dinner in the cabin with family and friends, we really feel like we are in our own personal log castle. The theater room and game rooms are fun, and all accommodations are luxury log cabin style.

What makes this property unique

Summit Castle is a large log castle with incredible views from inside and outside the cabin. Most of the lower level is an entertainment area with a large barn-style theater room and game room with a Pop-a-Shot basketball game, arcade game, and air hockey. Adults love the 5 master suites, each with its own full bathroom. Children love sleeping in the bunk room with 4 bunks. The cabin has a very open floor plan with a 2 story wall of windows overlooking the mountains. Summit Castle also has a very distinctive long picnic-table style log dining table that can comfortably sit multiple families and a kitchen with 2 of each appliance. Other outstanding features are a mountain-view office and a fire pit.
