*DESIGNED for traveling professionals, students, and military on assignment with or without family...anybody who needs a place to stay for up to six months. Mid-term rentals are month-to-month. Proof of temporary employment, academic enrollment, or assignment is required unless renting as a short-term rental for holiday (rare).

Fun family vacation!

We absolutely loved staying at Casa de Grandview!!! Linda was the perfect host and very responsive with questions. We had a large group of adults and children and we all fit comfortably. The amenities were absolutely perfect and made packing easy. The outdoor entertainment space was perfect and relaxing. I highly recommend booking with Linda for your next big family vacation.

Didn't know it was actually in the Basement of the host

This is a really nice place and clean, but we didn't know we are going to be in the basement of the house of the host. I know I was informed that they live on the property but not in the property. So I guess that was a misunderstanding on my end or prehaps not made very clear. If I had known for sure then we would have booked somewhere else because my family have voices that carry. The space is huge and more than enough sleep area for everyone. Kitchen is a little to small for a large party but great for maybe 8 people. This was our first time actually using this site and my family and I happened to visit on Christmas weekend. Linda was nice to make it Christmasy for us by putting up a Tree and some other decor. The cons I have is that it got very cold being it was 12 degrees but the weather stated it would feel like negative 3 degrees wheres to we turned up the heat but the floors remained cold and most of us left with colds especially the kids. 🙃 We had on 2 layers of sucks as well. Quiet time is at 11pm to 7am so if you want to laugh and play games all night until maybe 2am this may not be the best fit for you. Linda did answer every request timely. There was a little kid running around early in the am which woke us up so that was a little bummer but we got through it especially considering I recieved a message to have my group to respect quiet hours. 🙃 I am assuming they had guest as well. I'm not to sure. Overall your key things was cleanliness, ✅ The host response ✅✅ And accuracy❌ ( The square footage was correct) but not knowing we were in a baze Thanks Linda

Lovely in every way

The house is lovely: it was very spacious, neat, clean and welcoming. Seeing deer was a welcome treat, and the hosts were very accommodating. My friends and I travel a lot and we know what to look for when renting homes. The motion sensors/lights inside and outside were very helpful in the dark! We had a great time.

All the comforts of home!

Linda and her husband are very accommodating and informative. They have a great space to host many! We were a party of nine, We all had our own beds and had plenty of room to hang out together with the two large sectional couches and the nice deck outside. The apartment was stocked with everything you could ever need while traveling! Lots of fun activities for the children inside and out! We loved all the family of deer that would graze a lot of the day right in the yard and the location was perfect to walk to the Nature preserve! It was a great time!

Great Getaway

Great location, plenty of space for my large family. The house had everything we would need and didn't think of. We had the pleasure of meeting the owners and they were most accommodating, and pleasant to work with. Most of all the kids loved the costume room not to mention the adults as well!

Minutes from Grandview Nature Preserve Beach and Trail access, you can enjoy wildlife and the seashore while at the same time residing amongst friendly folks in a safe neighborhood. We are halfway between historical Williamsburg (35 m.) and Virginia Beach (35 m.). You can participate in many of the activities that are popular in this area, yet avoid the nightmare traffic conditions common closer to VA Beach.
