One bedroom studio apartment, kitchen and bath with shower in large home. It is about 535 square feet total with storage options in the attached garage. It has a private entrance through the garage. There are no common walls with the host living area, so it is private and quiet. Home is only 2 miles from historic Silver City and National Forest and CDT trail for fantastic hiking and biking. House is located on 1 acre in rural area. Fenced yard with dogs on property. Apartment recently remodeled. Discounted weekly and monthly rates available. Five night minimum stay. Additional bed room may be available for the apartments guest for short stay upon request, and for longer term renters.
There is a grey water system watering trees on the property connected to the shower and washing machine. Only biodegradable soaps can be used. Host can supply if needed.

Home away from home

Kathryn's apartment is awesome! It is stocked with everything you would need. It is charming!! I loved watching the deer outside the window. I was a traveler and stayed for 13 weeks. Kathryn is very caring and goes above and beyond to make you feel at "home" . I would definitely stay again and would highly recommend it.

Beautiful one bedroom apartment.

Wonderful apartment close to everything yet quite. Kathryn is sooo nice and very accommodating. I stayed for 3 months and would again in a heartbeat.

I am a retired nurse and an artist with my art studio on the property. I volunteer at an animal shelter and occasionally foster a dog. I enjoy hiking in the mountains near my home, camping, travel and gardening.
