Great spot and very nice house with everything you need to enjoy the water.

  • 5 of 5

Very nice location on the lake. The house has great views of the lake and a good overall set up for families. The yard is great for kids and the beach is shallow going out. A floating dock for the bigger kids to jump off. Canoe, kayaks and water toys, life jackets and all. Very well supplied and thought out house. We stayed with our two older labs, a six and three year old. We had friends with same age children and two older girls 9 come visit and had sufficient room for all. One of the better kitchens I've used at a rental. I usually bring some of my own pans but didn't need them. Quite close to Hannafords and downtown Dexter- very cute town that has everything you'd need- Renys on Main Street. The owner was great, the only thing that needed to be attended to was the washer, and he had it fixed quick and checked in to see if it was done. The lake is awesome- we saw a bald eagle grabbing its dinner and there is an otter that lives just outside the dock, and you can see it swim around as it gathers fresh water mussels. Loon calls all the time. A great stay, for kids, dogs and adults. I really appreciate that the owner allows pets, as they are an important part of our family.

Very clean inside and outside. Lake was clean as well!

  • 4 of 5

Aside from the busy street, overall, it is a nice place. It is very clean and nice inside. When you are outside in the backyard overlooking the lake, you don't even think about the busy street or notice it. The lake is clean and the owners supplied a kayak and a canoe for entertainment. My family and I would go back again! We really enjoyed ourselves!

We all had an amazing time

  • 5 of 5

We would definitely recomend this rental. The water was very clean, the camp was clean and comfortable, Shop n Save is right down the street. Our kids had so much fun and loved to sit on the deck in the mornings and evenings. And the camp had plenty of equipment and toys for them to use to keep them busy during the day. We will be back next year for sure!

The Way Life Should Be

  • 5 of 5

As a lifetime Mainer, recently moved to SC, I was looking for a vacation that would give me everything that screamed MAINE. We're so glad we found this place.

It's hard to say anything bad when you had seven days of near perfect weather during your stay. The house was simple but fully equipped. The lot was much larger than I expected and allowed us to host our family and support 22+ people milling about. Paddling every morning with the rising sun and the laughing loons was my favorite part of the day.

The owners were prompt to our inquiries and pleasant to work with. We're already looking forward to our next stay on the lake.

Thank you for making this available!

Fantastic modern home with spectacular views over the lake.

  • 5 of 5

Super modern lakeside house built to benefit from the wonderful views across the lake. The house is extremely well equipped to enjoy the garden and lake and the kitchen has all the upto date equipment to cater for yourself. In an excellent location to walk into Dexter to get provisions and enjoy walks around the lake. Really enjoyed visiting Bar Harbor and Freeport.

Made to feel very welcome to enjoy their holiday camp by the owners.
