The full kitchen has an electric range, all the cooking items you should need, and a Keurig coffee maker with K-cups for your use. A new LG washer and dryer are in main foyer off the garage. There is also a dining room with large barnwood table to seat 8-10 people comfortably. There are games available in the hutch in the dining area, as well as a 55" Samsung Ultraslim Smart LED TV.

Pack N' Play in this bedroom closet.

* Fourth bedroom (in basement) with a hickory log king sized bed, electric woodstove for ambiance, and 55" flatscreen LED TV with Apple TV--across the unfinished main basement area (cement floors, with large 8 x 10 " rug in place) to get to the bathroom described in 3rd bedroom area.

* Loft with one twin XL bed with plenty of extra space for at least a queen size blow up mattress (not currently available). Large executive aspen desk in case you needed to work over-looking the lake.

* Theater room with projector (in basement) with LED star light panels and 7.1.2 Dolby Atmos Sound System. Leather stadium theater seats (8 total seating) with LED cup holder lights. The perfect hideaway!
The property was beautiful and clean. It had everything for a perfect "girl's" getaway. In the main living area, each person had their own recliner, a fireplace, and a beautiful view. This was our primary hangout spot. The beds were comfy and we each had our own space to spread out do to the layout and size of home. We are planning to come back!

Private Family Location
This property was even better than I expected. It was a well-furnished, clean home with everything our family of 9 needed. Perfect lake for kayaking and fishing. We appreciated the quieter location away from the busy touristy areas. At the same time, it was an easy trip to nearby spots for groceries, shopping, and exploring. Beautiful sunsets and campfires. We would have wished for more seating and some shade down by the dock. We will definitely be booking again!

About the host

Hosted by Aubrey Hoye

Host profile image
Aubrey grew up in Chilton, WI and had always thought about returning to Wisconsin after her schooling @ Northern Michigan University and Michigan State University. Dustin grew up in Independence, MO, and moved to Wisconsin after college @ Missouri State University. Our family lived in this home from the time we bought it in 2012, until August 2017. We spent many summer days on Lower Gresham Lake, and have kayaked out of the lake to the connections to the nearby lakes; and we have also boated on the lake. In winter, we have enjoyed snowmobiling, snowshoeing, skiing, and fat tire biking. There are numerous bike baths in the area, which make summer and fall so much fun and you can discover so much beauty in this area. Eventually, our lives took a turn professionally, and we moved to the Lake Tahoe area in 2017.

Why they chose this property

Close to Boulder Junction and Minocqua; a central hub for snowmobiling, hiking, mountain biking, boating, kayaking, etc! Close to the UP and Wausau for downhill skiing; close to some epic nordic ski trails. WinMan trails in Winchester/Manitowish Waters are great. The beauty of the Northwoods of Wisconsin is hard to beat!

What makes this property unique

The two story windows in the living area that look westward over the lake to view epic sunsets are probably what sold us on this home. We also love the boardwalk over the marshy area to get down to the lake, and loved that we could keep our kayaks right on the dock to get right in and go for an adventure. Also, being right in the center of the Northwoods snowmobile trail system was a huge plus--you can get anywhere from our home via snowmobile.
