About Chris Garcia

We are Mike and Chris Garcia, and we live in Central Mass. Like many, through vacationing in the area, we grew to love The Mount Washington area and all that it has to offer in every season. We particularly have always loved Jackson: It is perfectly located for just about anything you are looking to do and it has remained quaint and charming: We have enjoyed renting our home, which we call 'Jackson' for 9 years. it has been and will continue to be our goal to offer a thoroughly relaxing and stress free vacation to all our guests. We strive to make each experience a positive one and through years of experience, we feel that we can anticipate the needs of all vacationers. So, whether you are a couple looking for a winter weekend getaway, a group of woman looking for a couple of nights of fun or a family looking to book your summer vacation, we are confident that you would be thoroughly pleased with this accommodation. We hope you give us a look.

Chris Garcia purchased this house in 2004

Why Chris Garcia chose White Mountains

The property is one of those properties that goes on the market and does not stay. it was built in 1891 as a Summer home: It is featured in the book: Summer Cottages of New England. You just don't come across properties like this very often and we felt that we didn't want the opportunity to slip by... so, we took a chance and because of so many great people who have enjoyed staying here for the past 9 years, we are able to maintain it so that it continues to be a place to be enjoyed. Mike and I maintain and clean the property ourselves so that we know that you are arriving to a clean, cozy place that is ready for you to enjoy from the first minute. We supply toiletries, towels and make up the beds with luxury linens. We are available by phone at all times: very accessible for any unique needs that may come up.

What makes this house unique

The unique benefits are the ideal location to Jackson Falls, 3 major golf courses, Storyland ,5 ski mountains and we are in the midst of the well known and meticulously groomed Jackson cross country ski trails. We are 15 minutes to North Conway which has many great Valley Original restaurants and all the shopping you could ask for. If staying in the village of Jackson is your preference, there are plenty of great places to eat in Jackson as well. Unique to the home itself is beauty in it's history and authenticity of the architecture.

The pictures do not do this house justice. My friends and I stayed here for a weekend at the end of October, and it was absolutely beautiful! The house is wonderfully inviting and the owners make you feel right at home, with every detail covered. The house was very clean, extremely comfortable, fully modernized, and the scenery of the fall foliage was magnificent. The town of Jackson is truly charming, and theres a lot more to do if youre willing to drvie a bit ( the house is equipped with a lot of pamphlets of what to do in the area). The only problem we had was our GPS. Dont listen to it- it'll take you to the wrong house- follow the directions that the owners provide. Overall, this house is amazing and the owners are so nice. I would definitly stay here again- it's like staying with family.

Outstanding Getaway!

  • 5 of 5

This place was outstanding! The house was beautiful inside and out (and extremely clean). The oriental rugs were a nice touch on the hardwood floors. The beds were very comfortable. We were able to use the wood burning fireplace while we watched the Patriots. It had a beautiful big yard. We had our coffee on the wrap around porch. It was seconds away from the center of Jackson NH. This is the best place from Home Away that we have rented. The owners were very helpful and down to earth.

An Idyllic Vacation Home!

  • 5 of 5

This is such a sweet house in a gorgeous location, and Chris and Mike have taken care of every detail to make our stay magical. We spent a week here in February, hiked the nearby mountain trails, and came home each day to lay a fire in the fireplace and enjoy the comforts of this charming home. It's even more delightful than it looks!

Perfect location, perfect house with perfect charm

  • 5 of 5

The description of this beautiful house does not do it justice. It is absolutely charming and perfect in every way. The entire home held past charm but was fully updated and spotless clean. We loved that it was up on a hill and had a beautiful view of the mountains from the wraparound porch. Chris was so helpful and so easy to work with.

This is the second time we have rented this home for Thanksgiving.

It is warm and inviting. Close to activities and restaurants.

The home is the clean and neat and has everything you need for a great time.

Chris and Mike are easy to deal with and go out of their way to make your stay special.

We plan on renting again.
