Nice location to Buford Beach. Loved the sound of the falls from the balcony. Adequate accommodations but the entire place could have used a good, thorough cleaning. Living room furniture was very uncomfortable and the sofa was actually being propped up by books due to a broken leg. Beds were soft and darker curtains would be nice for those who don’t want to wake up at sunrise. Kitchen supplies (utensils and cookware) were minimal so if you plan to cook, bring your own. Owner was very responsive to questions and a wasp issue on the balcony.
Beautiful view and a nice place to stay. The hostess was available and helpful.

Host was excellent
The property was good enough to rest in. The listing did not indicate that this was a 3 story apartment with which you are sharing with people above and below you. The driveway was TERRIBLE and there were not enough parking places. The place smelled strongly of fish upon
arrival so I was really glad I brought Febreeze. The furniture was really old and needs updating bad. The people above us flooded their place so we awoke to water dripping in our faces with the entire bedroom and bath springing leaks everywhere getting EVERYTHING soaking wet especially our bed. We immediately called the host and she came right over to try to fix the issue. She was excellent to work with and had everything cleaned and dry by the time we got back from our float. She refunded a portion of our money very quickly. I’m not sure if everything is on the same water tank but we had absolutely NO hot water Friday evening or for the rest of our entire stay which was Friday-Sunday. We had 8 people in our group who needed showers which was very difficult because the River water was warmer than the water in the house. Whom ever took the pictures for this listing did an excellent job but I really don’t feel that they properly represent the property which is located across the street from the river, however, You can see and hear the River rolling and it was beautiful. This place is old and needs updating and a deep cleaning. We did enjoy our trip but we were hardly at the home. I would not stay here again despite the hosts excellent service.

Chuck and I fell in love on the Spring River. Amanda is a professor in Teacher Education at Arkansas State University in Mountain Home, works with the city of Cherokee Village and loves relaxing on the river in her downtime.
Why they chose this property
Come enjoy the beautiful sunsets off your balcony porch overlooking the river and be lulled into a relaxing state while listening to the water flowing over the rapids below. You will be steps from access to the river and walking distance from the Bufford Beach Park with swimming, play, and picnic areas and a boat launch. Property is located within minutes of 'old town" Hardy, a step back in time, with antique and specialty shops, craft stores and gift nooks.
What makes this property unique
Nearby in Cherokee Village there are two 18 hole golf courses, six swimming pools, two recreation centers, fitness center, tennis courts, horseshoe pits, three nature trails, and seven fishing and boating lakes.
