Directions

We’re about 7 km north of Manali and about 700 meters higher than it too. On the road heading north from Manali towards Solang Valley/ Rohtang Pass/ Lahaul Spiti/ Leh comes a point referred to as Nehru Kund which is ahead of Village Bahang but way short of Village Palchan about halfway to Solang Valley. At Nehru Kund is a bridge to cross over to the right bank of the river ( right bank of Beas is on ur right if facing downstream ). Once across follow the Village Road till Hotel Highland Park n then turn left onto village Shanag ( Shanag- Old manali road ). Less than a km ahead on ur left is a light green coloured roof on a 3 storey structure. You park in this compound as Chalet Windflower ( with a Mediterranean blue roof ) is just behind this structure in the Apple orchard below.

You can also approach the Chalet from the other side I.e. via the old manali club house to Shanag road via village Ghoshal.
