Private guest cottage with kitchenette, living and dining area, bathroom and mountain viewing deck on first floor. Three bedrooms : one queen, one with two twins, and a third downstairs with a full bed. Additional queen futon in living area.

Rustic cabin in the woods with amazing view

Pros -- the view! This property has a deck with an amazing view and is not far from the main square in Talkeetna and other attractions such as ski resorts and the 7 Glaciers restaurant. Cons -- Be prepared for a rustic experience in a cabin with well water, and low water pressure. The cabin is attractive but there is limited seating in the living room with a very uncomfortable futon and the mattresses are adequate. This is a fine setting if you are doing lots of activities.
