***CLEANLINESS IS OUR HIGHEST PRIORITY! Between guests, we launder ALL linens - sheets, blankets, comforters, shams. We also wash all towels, shower curtain liner and bath rugs. .... That way you can just relax knowing everything has been cleaned especially for you!***** We provide soap, shampoo, and cream rinse.

NEW!!! WE NOW HAVE BROADBAND. Spectrum's fiber optic to the house was installed in October. We now have the ability to stream programing....so bring your passwords for your streaming services and you can watch all those programs here in rural Bat Cave!

We have installed a GENERATOR so if the power goes out - happens once in a while in our area- You will still be able to run most everything in the house. The owner won't have to access your accommodations to turn Generator on as it is the building next to the house and can be turned on from outside. We were concerned about Guests being inconvenienced during outages so opted for this solution.

Perfect stay!

Absolutely wonderful property and owners. Well stocked, exceptionally clean, and charmingly decorated. Comfortable beds, great shower. Fantastic location, both from the standpoint of proximity to basically everything, and the site itself. The outdoor areas and noisy creek were nothing less than amazing. We will most definitely return!

Who knew?

The listing looks humble, but the setting is amazing! My onlycomplaint comes with the Vrbo process - not this property. I remember the good old days when I could easily call the owners. Now VRBO is less user friendly.

Minihaha Guest House

We came to the mountains to go to the Biltmore estate and Chimney rock and looked at a lot of vrbo . This one seemed to be what we was after . We got there and it awesome . Better than expected . The brook beside the place was so calming and the was exceptionally clean and the owners thought of everything . It is a place that you would like to stay at again . We have zero bad things to say . Only wish we could of spent more time there.

Great place to stay

My husband and I used the guest house for our trip with our 16-year-old grandson for a visit to chimney rock. This place could not have been more perfect!

Bill was a designer at Ford Motor Co for over 30 years.
I managed a office in Detroit for close to 20 years.
When we decided to retire we searched many locations. We had visited the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC on our way back from Florida and feel in love with the area. We narrowed our search until we found the perfect spot - Bat Cave, NC
We are so fortunate - 3 of our 4 children chose join us and now live close by. Almost two years ago my sister retired and her family made their way live in Asheville. Life is good!

Why they chose this property

The property is truly unique. The sound of the rushing stream so close to the quest house porch is amazing. A short walk and you can experience a private waterfall. A quiet, private venue to relax and reenergize. After years of city life this is exactly the rural location we hoped to find.

What makes this property unique

We decided we wanted to share our special location with visitors. The sights, sounds and smells are a wake up call for the senses! In addition, quest comfort and convenience are our priorities, We hope you will choose us for you vacation destination..........
