About Joan Bowen
We bought this home after our daughter graduated from UNC-A and declared that she planned to stay in the area permanently. We decided to buy a home and use it to stay in when we visited her and invite guests to use it when it was empty. We vacationed for a week in the area and found this place on our last day in town. When we first walked into the main room and gazed at the view beyond the decks we knew we had found the perfect retreat.
Joan Bowen purchased this House in 2004
Why Joan Bowen chose Royal Pines
Our home is most convenient to a variety of activities, from Biltmore Estate to Asheville Regional Airport to downtown. Less than 10 minutes from full service grocery stores, restaurants and other shopping. We're also very close to the new Biltmore Park shopping center, with a variety of stores, restaurants and a multiplex. Asheville Outlet Mall opened in May 2015, and that is less than 15 minutes away, off I 26.
