Located just 20 minutes North of Roanoke, Virginia, and 25 minutes South of Historic Lexington, Virginia. Beautiful Log Cabin with panoramic mountain views. Offering 4 large bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, Great room with gas fireplace, large family room. Enjoy an adult beverage at the custom made Bar made from reclaimed barnwood, called "The Rusty Roof Saloon." Private creek runs throughout the property, great for fishing , tube floating or just relaxing ! (Hours are from 10-4 daily) Also a Bonfire Pit for your enjoyment! You will be able to hike local trails, Peaks of Otter/Apple Orchard Falls to name a few, or the Appalachian Trail itself. If kayaking, canoeing, or tubing is something you like, we are 3 miles to Twin River Outfitters! Shuttle is available! Many local wineries, microbreweries, and restaurants within a-25 mile radius. Take a stroll in the quaint town of Buchanan and enjoy Mom and Pop restaurants, antique shops and more!! 12 miles from Peaks of Otter. Horseback riding within 20 miles. Mountain Top Moments

Cooper's Cabin provides our family the perfect place to gather! Our host communicated with us everything we needed to know. The location was quiet and peaceful, but within short distance to Breweries and the Virginia Safari Park! First time fishing moments at Cooper's Creek and watching shooting stars from the deck at night priceless!

You Will Moy Be Disappointed in the least!

Cooper’s Cabin is a hidden gem with the best views, the best hosts, with all the comforts of home (but way more fun)! The downstairs tiki bar and pool table was great family fun each night! And the funny thing is, we have a pool table at home, but never play :)

VMI Graduation week

This was the perfect house for our family while we gathered to celebrate our son’s graduation from VMI. Plenty of indoor and beautiful outdoor space to gather and relax. The home had everything we needed, and the owners were extremely helpful, accommodating & quick to respond to questions. I would highly recommend this home to any family looking for a relaxing getaway in a beautiful setting.

We love the outdoors, bonfires, and the beautiful mountains! I grew up in the area and love our small town! I worked in Sales for 38 years for some great local companies! The Cabin was finished in 2006 and we made this beautiful log home our retreat for my Son and our sweet Golden Retriever, (which the cabin is named for) Cooper! It is a perfect get- away for couples, families and friends. I hope you will enjoy our property as much as we do.!! Relaxing and secluded, this property will not leave you disappointed! We want to make you feel like you are at home, just without the stress of work or life events! I have loved this home and look forward to having you here!

Why they chose this property

This property is special, I grew up on this 140 acre farm. It was passed down for generations, and we were able to begin building in 2004. It was completed and moved in around 2006. A lot of hard work went into building this home. We have worked to maintain the warm, home feel! This quaint small town is a great area for relaxing, fun, and great restaurants!!
